FOX's Megyn Kelly Isn't Worried I Feel Uncomfortable III

♬"Looks like we made it,...."♪

And now - arriving all the way from (where else?) my so-on-it-it-hurts hometown of South Central, Los Angeles - that little bit of comfort every nigga needs:

And with that - and as someone born and raised in "the heart of black Los Angeles" - I hope Megyn Kelly becomes the last idiot newscaster-who-likes-fucking-with-blacks in the country,...

  1. I love how you have adopted a perfect zen tone with the yin and yang in this post. Pretty soon you will be doing Surya Namaskar every morining to warm up your aching back

  3. Chocolate, vanilla, or mocha Santas - it's morally wrong to sell children a series of big lies, bribe them, and coerce their behavior. No wonder so many grown children accept lies such as President Obama's over the ACA - as young children they were, early on, trained to not develop healthy skepticism. It is one of the original forms of child abuse. I'm disappointed in the Macho Response who I would have expected to call them all on it, not just quibble over the Megyn Kelly bullshit.

  4. Meade: You sound like a cynical robot. Life should have some mystery and blarney. Also, it's important to tell kids fanciful lies like the tooth fairy and Santa so when they grow up and learn the truth, they know how to spot a con.

Are you also blaming Santa for the Iraq invasion? What's a chickenhawk to do?

  5. The black Santa's first name was Langston which made me think of Langston Hughes and a rather famous poem.

What happens to a dream deferred?

    Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
    Or fester like a sore—
    And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
    Or crust and sugar over—
    like a syrupy sweet?

    Maybe it just sags
    like a heavy load.

    Or does it explode?

Four years after Watts exploded in 1965 I worked in Bellflower and Compton for a few days after I got out of the service. Gangs hadn't really got started and Snoop Dog wasn't even born. I liked the few neighborhoods I saw with decent houses, lawns, nice enough cars in driveways, but obviously missed what was below the surface.

Like other TMR readers I find enough to disagree or be annoyed with but that's why I'm here. I don't care if the truth comes from Crack Emcee,Shouting Thomas or someone else. If it's there I'll take it.

  6. Sorry Meade. The chickenhawk crack (sorry, Crack for the crack crack) was uncalled for.

Yes, the Iraq war was based on the abuse and corporate style twisting of intelligence by ignoring the uncertainty and amplifying facts that supported the path to war. This is no different that the global warming crap: confirmation bias and refusal to deal with uncertainty.

All those things you blame on Santa are more appropriately at the feet of christianity. You see, kids are ultimately told that Santa is not real, however, they are continued to be told that jesus god and the holy ghost are real and instead of getting coal if you don't believe, you get an eternity of hellfire and damnation.

The fact that many people no longer believe the adam-eve-moses-jesus fabrication, they replace it with a myriad of substitute faiths, including Ayn Rand objectivism, socialism, homeopathy, westernized zen, EST, PSI, reiki, tea party, whatever.

Wanting to take Santa away from children is sick. You should consider treating people like dogs.
