"We found that religious people or even people who simply believe in the existence of God show significantly less brain activity in relation to their own errors."-- Michael Inzlicht, assistant psychology professor at the University of Toronto, in a story trying to sell the idea that "a belief in God plays a positive role in the treatment of anxiety and depression" - when what they're really saying is, without a thumbsucker to ease their troubled minds, delusional types are more scared and unstable - leading me to think the "significantly less brain activity" claim is true, especially if they can't even fake it for The Washington Times.
