Oh dear. "Many Unitarians would prefer that their polyamory activists keep quiet" during the gay marriage debate, because "Hush up!" is how we're getting to the truth, behind this issue, this time.
I'm reminded that priests make rationalizations when they molest little kids.
A world of hysterics, pretending they're calmly discussing things, for reals.
They don't want to talk about what happened, what they did (and do) to each other.
All they're programmed to do is disrupt things, while repeating the phrase "We Are All One."
All they're programmed to do is disrupt things, while repeating the phrase "We Are All One."
And there's the ugly truth behind the image:
When you're dealing with cultists, “It’s not about the witchcraft, but the deception,…"
Unitarians are perfect examples of being so "nice" to everything and everyone that they'll fall for anything.
ReplyDeleteAnd I've noticed that many who were formerly something else, but just don't feel their former religions are "nice enough" to everyone (or their religions have issues with something they like to do) wind up becoming Unitarians -- which is pathetic...and makes me almost hanker for some fire and brimstone...because they are brain dead and nutless, they could probably be talked into throwing infants into a brazen bull eventually at the rate they are being so damn "nice".
Perhaps this is a leftover artifact from my Catholic upbringing and thus bigotry and general hatefulness, but I don't think so.
I think it has to do with realizing a person sometimes has to not be "nice", not be popular with everyone, and say "no" to some things -- it involves risk, but it must be done.
And perhaps this is the reason I'm an apostate Catholic who has issues with (if still a great deal attachment to) her old church -- and my catechism priest, crusty old curmudgeon that he was -- was far wiser than I gave him credit for as a child: he predicted that this crap with shit priests was going to blow up in the Church's face; that the true and right thing to have done would been to have defrocked the sick bastards and turned them over to the authorities; he was shut up at the time (and many of very liberal priests, nuns, and laity were overjoyed to see this happen to him)...but he was right....and even though I had my issues with him, I will say always: he was at least a very brave, smart man who stood by his principles always -- even when it caused him a lot of grief. I can respect somebody like that, even when I don't agree with them.
Unlike fascist hippies -- who want to be nice, nice, nice...to everyone who agrees with them only.

Matter of fact, I'd love to turn Father Patrick loose on this guy:

But he is dead, so it will have to be left to others. Although he provides a very good example of why I have not gone to church in a very long time. For some reason preachers like that really bring the bile bubbling up in me (as well as the "faithful" who fill the pews to listen to such...people).
