Meh, they didn't really conduct it correctly. The proof is when you take somebody who has just come off a week of 16-20 hour duty, hasn't gotten to bathe in a couple of days, has been living on very nasty coffee and chain smoking, and is dressed to merely go out with a friend and toss back some hooch in order to wind down and get some sleep...and...posits the question matter of factly with no cutesey pootsey to a test subject who is relatively attractive and dressed/cleaned up in a typical not looking for it but it sure would be nice to find a girl, Friday night sort of way.
Then, you've got a good notion of how this will break down.
