Still Hung Up On (And Beaten Up By) "Style Points"

I don't know which is worse:

Or whites thinking they always accurately assess what's happening,...

  1. Which whites are you referring to Crack? The Fox News whites or the almost 100% white Salon?

  2. Here is another white dude saying it...

Obviously President Obama is not an idiot, he got elected twice (it is hard to do once without being exceptionally bright). Just like President George W. Bush was not an idiot. But both of them made big mistakes.

  3. That he has shown to not be trusting of certain of our "good allies" gives a lie to the fact that he is completely incompetent -- he has shown more sense than some with this. That he is floundering with this is frustrating -- I would have preferred someone better, but he is the president (so I guess I find myself in the same position as some liberals I know back during the Bush years: not caring overmuch for the president, but finding some really ugly streaks within the group I identified with...perhaps this is a good thing in the end).

That he has made huge mistakes is damning; I wish he hadn't (as he is president and represents the country, I never had a desire to see him "fail", because of what it means for the country) -- but he hasn't been completely wrong all of the time (thank goodness -- it could be much worse).
Republicans should go after what they see is wrong, and leave obsessing over him -- it's a losing position and horrible small visioned...and they should be looking further down the road (which they won't as long as they obsess over Obama; there are much bigger dangers than just this one man, even if he is president).
In fact, if they had, Obama would have never happened in the first place.

I see that the European press is starting to say that without Hillary's "grace" Obama is lost -- they are starting to portray him as a slightly more likeable W. (and it isn't because they actually like him more, on this point I'm sure).

    So are some "conservatives":

I consider the sources...and can only conclude that it's time to think in a more forward fashion (and watch out for Elizabeth Warren as well, imhao).
At any rate, this back and forth crap has got to stop...unless of course chaos and destruction is the ultimate goal...which I'm not so certain some people aren't wanting (me, I have tangible things to care about -- I would prefer that we didn't [go the course we appear to be on]).

  4. ...and if I was Mitt Romney, I don't think I'd be too overjoyed with Bill Clinton's endorsement of me as "a decent man"!

Perhaps with Mitt and Bill it's more of a case of like liking like?

I would of course have been so honored and pleased to have a man of Mitt's decency, decorum, and gravitas sitting in the White House right now! How awful for us that we missed that opportunity!
