Bugs and Thugs is a 1953 animated short film in the Looney Tunes series produced by Warner Bros. Cartoons, Inc. but - despite thugs being shown engaged in criminal activity - featured no blacks.
The thugs are Italian or perhaps Irish. Never the cold-blooded, reserved WASPs or Vikings. We steal and murder legally and/or via proxies. As long as we have plausible deniability, it's all good. That gives us the immoral high-ground to keep everyone else in their place.
