The Boys: A TV show for those who've known The NewAge Movement worships the wrong values.
This man (who usually looks like he's having a stroke) will blame Republicans for anything - to ignore what NewAge Democrats are doing "spiritually". Oprah, Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, Shirley MacLaine, etc. - those beloved icons, getting involved in politics, while controlling and manipulating the media and culture, don't matter: They're responsible for nothing. It's just those hated evangelicals everyone laughs at and think are crazy. They're the problem. Because Kurt Anderson is such a partisan of the NYT world, he's practically bonkers.
Any film that asks me to "identify" with people who listen to self-help tapes, or feel the need to find "themselves", or believe in curses or karma, already begin with a major sin against them.
