You'd have to be a fool not to see political realignment occurring.

Probably for the better - definitely in the long run,...

  1. Did you bother to look at the numbers?

And, if you did--were you able to make sense of them? I know your ability to understand things is limited these days.

    Take this, for instance:

hen we talk about the Center, we are not talking about some shapeless, shifting mass of voters who just can't make up their minds about where they stand. They know what they stand for—nearly half the voters we identified in the Center even say they're liberals or conservatives. (Hell, 15 percent of those in the Center say they are supporters of the Tea Party.) However, their views don't neatly correspond to traditional definitions of liberal or conservative, creating a disjunction between where they think they are on the ideological spectrum and where they actually are.

    or this:

    2. THE CENTER IS PRETTY WHITE. NOT AS WHITE AS THE FOLKS ALL THE WAY TO THE RIGHT, BUT STILL: PRETTY WHITE. AND THEY DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANY TALK OF "DIVERSITY."

Compared with voters who make up segments further to the left on the spectrum, the Center is much less ethnically diverse. Though it's impossible to attribute any direct causation, there also happens to be a clear lack of support in the Center for issues typically related to diversity.

    or this:

The people of the center are patriotic and proud, with a strong majority (66 percent) saying that America is still the greatest country in the world, and most (54 percent) calling it a model that other countries should emulate. But the center is also very nervous about the future, overwhelmingly saying that America can no longer afford to spend money on foreign aid (81 percent) when we need to build up our own country.

    or this:

But the center leans rightward on the environment, capital punishment, and diversity programs. Majorities support offshore drilling (81 percent) and the death penalty (64 percent), and the end of affirmative action in hiring and education (57 percent). Most people in the center believe respect for minority rights has gone overboard, in general, harming the majority in the process (63 percent). And just one in four support immigration reforms that would provide a path to citizenship for those who came here illegally.

That's just quick reading, without parsing the numbers. You of course, appear unable to do that, simply preferring to leap at the juicy bait dangled tantalizingly close.

And LMAO at your post title..."diverse majority".

Yeah. The majority that says minority rights have gone overboard. Diversity in action baby!

Political realignment occurring. Yep. Sounds like more people in the center are actually headed for "libertarian", which is essentially "tea party".

Free advice, Crack: read and try to understand the shit you post before you post it like it's going to buttress some made up thesis of yours.
