When You're So 'Open-Minded' Your Brains Fall Out (Picking Them Up Ain't Easy)

If you think it's unbelievable, in 2024, to read Downtown San Francisco is beyond redemption, imagine how you'd feel if - all the way back in 2007 - you wrote a blog post, here, called Welcome To The San FrancisCult, My Friend (Why, Thanks, That's Very White Of You) and it said: 

"Whether it's the racism (which I've spoken about for years) the adulterous white bullshit mayor, or the adulterous white bullshit mayor's love for cults, or the general lack of respect for morals, or the general lack of any good sense - or, really, anything else - personally, I'm sick of the bullshit "no one wants to touch" in San Francisco. That city's been hiding the fact that it's a sick, evil, and toxic place - filled with cults that are spreading their corrosive magic-thinking ("you can believe whatever you want to believe") and making normal people miserable - for a long, long, time." 

And no one believed you, then, either. How would you feel?

This decline is all around us now. On Monday, February 12, 2024, Edzard Ernst MD (the professor currently ranked No 1 amongst all researchers in the category of ‘Complementary & Alternative Medicine’) published Reiki is a laughable scam. On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, it was reported that the prestigeous Mayo Clinic Promotes Reiki. Like watching King Charles, hiring a homeopath right before he gets cancer, even vaccine debates are silly in the NewAge AKA The Age of Unreason. There's no one to reason with.

We are arguing with children. Congress' newspaper, The Hill, the Cleveland Plain Dealer AND the Washington Post are all still calling Trump a cult leader, long after the foremost authority on cults said it just isn't so. Meanwhile, all those news outlets let OneTaste, NXIVIM, Love Has Won, and all these other actual cults flourish, without a peep of recognition. Hell, they even encouraged people to vote for Barack Obama when he was campaigning with Oprah, whose cultism is now blamed for many of the problems that America faces today. Some "help" they are, huh?

Decline is inevitable.
