Ruby Dee (Do The Right Thing's "Mother Sister") Is Dead

Our feisty black icon was 91 - her husband (above) passed in 2005:

"Dee and [Ossie] Davis served as masters of ceremonies for the historic 1963 March on Washington and she spoke at both the funerals for Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcom X."
