More From The TMR Mailbag (People Can Be So Nice)

"You know we don't see eye to eye on many things, but I'm glad you've taken up racism. I don't have the perspective to give what you say much weight, and you lay bare the things I feel, but can't put to words. I'm mindful of the past and its lingering effects on our present. My only hope is that more people wake up to reality so that we may truly have a better future. What you're putting down must be addressed if there's to be any chance of moving forward."
