I've lived in France, but Americans still challenge me on it, swearing I'm a liar and the place is great when absolutely nothing says that's true, but their tourist-trap obsessed lips. I don't know why it takes years (sometimes decades) for the rest of society to see things as I do. Or why nobody agrees me - even after I present clear evidence - except, we're now in the NewAge, so their brains probably don't work anymore. That's a side effect of it.
