It was a very short step from this to Madonna - marching across our screens in a cone bra with a SEX book - daring anyone to say they shouldn't. 

And then there's the girls who followed.

The lesson becomes this: if porn is a place where all the sexual acts are purely on the screen, then surely Hollywood, which we must naturally assume to be less sleazy than porn, must be a place in which actresses are never compromised or forced into situations they do not wish to be in. Unless of course they married a violent and horrible man—that distinction is key.
