Black Is Black Is Black Is Black (Or Maybe Not)

"I'm blacker than Barack Obama. I shined shoes. I grew up in a five-room apartment. My father had a little laundromat in a black community not far from where we lived. I saw it all growing up."

-- Rod Blagojevich, proving the standards for "blackness" are stupid - he's also in trouble with the law, does that count? - because the standard for who's an American is what counts, and should be if you're a Jammie Wearing Fool.

This reminds me of when I lived in France and they kept telling me whites can't be "real Americans" because that designation was reserved for Indians and those descended from slavery,...insulting as hell, those French, even when they were trying to give a compliment.

You Are Getting Sleepy. "Actually, Dude,..."

"Most everyone knows it isn't a good bill, and knows that its failure to receive a single Republican vote, not one, suggests the old battle lines are hardening. Back to the Crips versus the Bloods. Not very inspiring."

-- Peggy Noonan, letting us know that Obama, like all stage hypnotists, must have willing subjects to achieve the proper effect, which he ain't finding at The Wall Street Journal.

Noonan adds a couple of paragraphs that TMR thinks are just brilliant; reminding us why we started this blog and all the stupid and ugly con artists we've met along the way - starting with the self-serving beliefs of Karine Anne Brunck and "Dr." Robert Wohlfahrt (notice the comparison to Blago and Idi Amin) - who have consumed so much of America's time, only to repeatedly destroy it with lies. Those of us who never bought into NewAge can feel that, in some way, it's really over - that though we lost that last battle - we have finally won the war. Here's Noonan:

"There's a sense among many,...a feeling part Puritan, part mystic and obscurely guilty, that some bill is coming due. Hard to get a stimulus package that addresses that. (The guilt was part of the power of Blago. He's the last American who doesn't feel guilt. He thinks something is moral because he did it. He's like a good-natured Idi Amin, up there yammering about how he's a poor boy who only wanted to protect the people of Chicago from the flu. You wish you could believe it! You wish he really were what he is in his imagination, a hero battling dark forces against the odds.)"

TMR likes Blago, but he's part of Obama's crew,...almost the last Baby Boomer. And, like Obama and Nancy Pelosi, you can't believe a word he says. We know that now. We know it about all these people.

Act accordingly.

Rangel, Dodd, Richardson, Blagojevich,...

"Democratic candidates in 2006 ran successfully against what they described as a Republican culture of corruption,..."

-- The Editors, discovering the party that stressed decency - but had a few bad apples - may not have been as bad as having a party in power that believes in nothing, for The Charleston Post And Courier.

Will All The Chicago Politicians Who Aren't Playing Straight With Us Please Raise Your Hand

"It is a reminder that though he is not of the Democratic machine, he has never been exactly against it. "

-- Steve Chapman, on president-elect Barack Obama's reaction to the Rod Blagojevich scandal, for Real Clear Politics.

They Did Not Listen: They Did Not Know How,...

"Obama and his aides have declined to comment on the complaint. Asked about the matter at a photo op Tuesday afternoon, Obama himself said he was "saddened and sobered" by the news but that he had not been in contact with Blagojevich and was "not aware of what was happening." But in the coming days and weeks the campaign will have to address whether Blagojevich or any of his representatives actually talked to an Obama adviser or other emissary on the matter. The transition team will also, undoubtedly, try to distance Obama from a man whom he helped first elect back in 2002 and supported for reelection in 2006, as well as from a brand of corrupt Chicago politics that John McCain tried unsuccessfully to link him to during the presidential campaign."

-- Massimo Calabresi, writing about the previously-known corruption of (l. to r.) Blagojevich, Obama, and Daley, in TIME Magazine.

Bwaaaa-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha!!!!!! This Shit Is Not Going To Stop, So Just Keep It Coming, Kids!!!

"Fuck him. For nothing? Fuck him."

-- Rod Blagojevich, Governor of Illinois, making his feelings very clear in an FBI recording, on ABC News.

You lamers voted for Chicago-style politics - with a heavy dose of cultism - and Chicago-style politics - with a heavy dose of cultism - you will get,...O-Boy should feel lucky he got to see the Oval Office because there's a good chance that's as close to it as he's ever gonna be. This is a fucking cesspool - and you're all swimming in it now. Remeber what I said about NewAge the other day?

They'll have you sitting in your own shit and declaring it's gold.
