“The Embassy is sovereign U.S. territory. The government of Serbia has the responsibility under international law to protect diplomatic facilities, particularly embassies.”
- Zalmay Khalilzad, the United States ambassador, who is said to be "outraged".
Indeed we have been. When we drop bombs on people who have not attacked us in any way, and then support the ethnic cleansing and ultimately the secession of a large and historic part of their sovereign territory under the control of a terrorist organization, (among other easy to find references) it's perhaps to be expected.
ReplyDeleteThat is, anyone who didn't expect it is either a fool, or has drunk the Kool-aid on Kosovo. The American public has been successfully lied to for years on Serbia, and unfortunately the only one with a microphone saying so is a whackjob and easily ignored.
You know what? I don't like your tone, mister,...
ReplyDeleteI don't mind if you don't like my tone. I don't like it myself. I grieve over it on long winter evenings...
