
On the bright side, this loss means Gavin Newsom should know he can't be Governor of California, and that's a "good" for everyone. Let's finally put his dumb ass out to political pasture and get to work on moving this country forward. What does that mean? It should mean that Gays get off the focus of religion and find out what's really bothering the opposition - like all the years the Gay Movement was anti-marriage and and actively worked to damage the institution. Nobody's forgotten that and there's a lot of distrust around it. Always acting like "Everyone's a little bit Gay" is another point of contention. That kind of idiotic nonsense has to stop. Maybe consider a public apology as a (first) olive branch. If you're not willing to go that far then you can't be serious about uniting the country around issues with you. There's more to politics than rebelling, y'now. And you never know:
It can't hurt more than what just happened.
