Whites Have Come Far Enough To Remove The Robes

Talking to these Democrats did about as much good as talking to Republicans today

They pat themselves on the back for their "progress." They say "we" still have a long way to go, while denying it's "they" we're talking about. The white Democrats blame the white Republicans. The white Republicans blame the white Democrats. But both deny it's whites who are the problem. Fill in the blanks:
