"The story of this 'meme queen' hints at how hard it will be to bring people like her back to reality'"
As usual, The New York Times devotes it's vast resources to discussing QAnon bullshit ("a New Age eccentric who could use some time away from screens") when they know QAnon's NOT what's really going on. But, they're not gonna tell you what's really going on, directly - you gotta suss that out for yourself - because "media" rules and journalism's dead. This article is the nonsense that keeps the ignorant chattering - and that's all that matters: it's the height of distraction, perfectly executed.
Think about it: She's the NYT's example? That obscure woman is the one who's gonna show us all how hard it is to bring people back to reality? Really? All because she's a NewAge Republican? Oh. My. God. In no particular order:
Guess who else is a NewAge Republican?
And he's the real thing, too - a true NewAge quack - dragged before the U.S. Congress, once, for selling "magic beans" on American television.
But while the NYT complains of message-spreaders, and how hard it is to bring people back, they haven't devoted one inch of space to worrying one minute that, over all these years, nothing has gotten through to this man - who has an internationally released TV show hawking quackery - and no one has ever seriously tried to get through to him. Not Oprah. I never expected it of the NYT.
If they did, they'd have reported his wife, Lisa Oz, also has a little untreated problem recognizing "up" from "down" - as evidenced by Wikipedia listing her credentials as "Author, radio and television personality, Reiki master" - as though "Reiki master" was a real thing, and not the acknowledgement she's a kooky cult member. Which, in that, she's not alone nowadays.
If this is who America gets it's fake news from on CNN - and the NYT hasn't busted THAT story wide open - then, what good is it? And - if the New York Times would rather pick on some poor woman than Chris Cuomo and his high-end luxury NewAge bullshit wife - then, who is the NYT even for, anymore?
