If this quote wasn't in The Washington Post - which allowed a self-proclaimed NewAge witch to run their religion section for years without telling anyone - it would be one of the weirdest things I've ever read. How casually they print that people today trust cults, I mean. Like there's ANY evidence that's even a good idea. But, since it is in The Washington Post, I will just have to accept I'm surrounded by full-on cultists now, like I'm living in a real-life version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. They think it's normal life. I think that's creepy as FUCK.
