As you can see in the screen grab above, Glenn Reynolds is joining Andrew Sullivan in being clueless, and blaming America's current madness on "the sudden, rapid, stunning shift in the belief system of the American elites" that "has sent the whole society into a profound cultural dislocation."

   

So, it was something new - and not any "cultural dislocation" that's been evolving since America started becoming a profoundly stupid NewAge society, that's been trained since the '80s to accept even Shirley MacLaine? Decades of NewAge nonsense - to Reynolds and Sullivan - was always perfectly normal and would surely lead to great things.
