One Of The Greatest Leaders To Come Out Of The '60s Has Spoken: Recycle Something - Fast!

I don't know how long it's going to take for people to understand the connection, between cultism and the various obsessions society seems to be nursing, but here's a headline that ought to, at least, bring a few more people closer to the obvious:
Global warming must be true, Charles Manson believes in it. Killer breaks 20-year silence on 40th anniversary of gruesome Sharon Tate murders

Crazed cult leader Charles Manson has broken a 20-year silence in a prison interview coinciding with the 40th anniversary of his conviction for the gruesome Sharon Tate murders - to speak out about global warming.

The infamous killer, who started championing environmental causes from behind bars, bemoaned the 'bad things' being done to environment in a rambling phone interview from his Californian jail cell.

'Everyone’s God and if we don’t wake up to that there’s going to be no weather because our polar caps are melting because we’re doing bad things to the atmosphere.

'If we don’t change that as rapidly as I’m speaking to you now, if we don’t put the green back on the planet and put the trees back that we’ve butchered, if we don’t go to war against the problem...' he added, trailing off.

Manson, who described himself to his interviewer as a 'bad man who shoots people', brainwashed members of a commune known as The Family into butchering eight people including film director Roman Polanski’s pregnant wife Sharon Tate in July and August 1969.

Speaking to Vanity Fair Spain magazine of the killing spree he led his crazed disciples on, the 76-year-old said: 'I live in the underworld. I don’t tell people what to do. They know what to do.

'If they don’t know what to do they don’t come around me because I’m very mean, I’m very mean.'

Interspersing English with Spanish, he added: 'I’m very mal hombre, nasty.

'I’m in the bullring. I run in the bullring with the heart of the world.'

'I don’t play. I shoot people.

'I’m too bad. I’m a mean guy. I’m an outlaw. I’m a criminal. I’m everything bad.'
Yeah. "Everyone's God." NewAge all the way.

Now, I know, for most people this will mean nothing. It's just a crazy cult killer, spewing what he's heard going on out here back at us.

But if you were me, uncovering the history and influence of cults on our society, it fits perfectly into the larger mosaic of mindlessness we've been on since Charlie roamed our streets, partying with The Beach Boys, sure The Beatles were sending secret messages just to him. What do I mean by that? Well, let me put it to you this way:

Charlie Manson, who still gets cell phones smuggled to him and fan mail, has never been alone. And especially not in his beliefs.

Back To The Future Of The Scene Of The Crime

Hippies! NewAge! Race! Beliefs! Everything you couldn't let go of!

But you're all grown up now, right? Oh, man, I like it:
TROUBLED Lindsay Lohan has been offered the part of murder victim Sharon Tate in a film about crazed cult leader Charles Manson.
Jesus, you freaks, everything seems to be spinning out of control!

Or is it finally all coming together?

If Hippies Can Be Killers, NewAgers Can Be, Too

Another of Charlie Manson's murderers, up for parole, goes down:

Patricia Krenwinkel, who joined Charles Manson's clan in a string of grisly killings more than 40 years ago, was denied parole Thursday.

Krenwinkel, 63, was convicted on seven counts of first-degree murder for her role in the Tate-LaBianca murders that terrorized Los Angeles in 1969.

Among the victims was actress Sharon Tate, who was married to director Roman Polanski. Tate was stabbed 16 times and hanged. She was seven months pregnant.
The parole hearing was held at the women's state prison in Corona, where Krenwinkel is serving a life sentence. It was Krenwinkel's 13th appearance before the Board of Parole Hearings.

She will be up for her next parole review in seven years, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

We don't know why they would even consider such a thing.

Love the Future Feminists of America haircuts, though,...quite fitting.

Start The Car: We're Outta Here

"I was searching for love and freedom. I was searching for God."
-- Linda Kasabian, the getaway driver for the Charley Manson cult killings - who, 40 years later, still can't seem to get away - admitting how she took a wrong turn somewhere, on Stuff.

Miss Kasabian is taking part in a documentary on the infamous Sharon Tate murders. Executive producer Nick Godwin said:
"From the beginning we thought the main question was how Manson took these middle America, hippy girls who were little more than kids and turned them into mass murderers."
Yea, we'd like to know that, too. It would explain a hell of a lot about what's wrong with this post-hippy society we've inherited,...

This Is Why We Can Never Go Anyplace "Nice"

"Oliver Stone has never been one for shying away from controversy, building a long and largely successful filmography around some of history's most talked-about figures. So is it any wonder that Stone's next project might just involve the infamous Charles Manson?

Variety is reporting that the murder of Sharon Tate and the activities of the Manson Family cult – the subject of prosecuting attorney Vincent Bugliosi's widely-known book Helter Skelter -- may be turned into a feature film by the director."
-- Christopher Monfette, forcing us to scream "It's about fucking time!" in front of the little ones - destroying all the God damned serenity around here - and badly affecting tiny IGN.com.
