Obama's Ugly Friend On Chicago's Ugly Politics


This is a clip that's very interesting: Obama's ugly little friend, Rashid Khalidi, describing the political culture Obama comes from - the same political culture that had Obama pulling dirty tricks on his previous opponents (like eliminating them from the ballot, or disqualifying black people's votes, or opening his opponent's divorce records) just as he has pulled dirty tricks on John McCain (like lying about taking public financing) - yet, in the same clip, Khalidi is also describing how the Palestinians will lie to seek advantage over the best efforts of the United States to help them. If you're really interested in politics, it's one hell of a clip. Lies and corruption/corruption and lies/what will we get/from electing these guys? Oh yea:

"Change You Can Believe In".

I swear, if the dishonesty wasn't so blatent, there might have been a way (as a political watcher) I could see it as clever, or even funny, but there is no way: I can only see it for what it is - disgusting - far below even the rough-and-tumble political standards of The Greatest Country On Earth. LBJ - now there was a Democrat who knew how to cheat in an election with style - but he also had a sense of honor, which is something sorely lacking from the Democratic Party of today.

The turn to Chicago-style bullshit (with a dash of NewAge) in this election is just too obvious, too corrosive, and too far from anything the good people of this nation needs. I guess, when everything is taxed to high heaven, like in Europe, they think we'll all finally be united - yea, in grief.

What this nation really needs is the honest, straight-forward, and proven leadership of John McCain - as well as the "enlightened" guidance of:
