Rattlin' Bones

"Judith Acosta , LISW, MSW, ChT, is a licensed psychotherapist, hypnotherapist and crisis counselor in private practice in New Mexico, as well as a consultant in the use of classical homeopathy."

-- Judith Acosta, who feels qualified to hand out advice on "vicarious traumatization" because - "as a consultant in the use of classical homeopathy" - she's an expert at being of so little help to anyone that once they're dead ("whatever that is") she's got time to write dribble for Jems.com.

  1. I myself have been profoundly helped by Classical Homeopathy. You see, what is on the inside of us is what we create on the outside. Thus, homeopathy's basic principle of 'like cures like'. Did you ever notice that whatever you try so hard to get away from in life and in yourself, seems to be mysteriously drawn toward you? Thus the negative ranting on this blog only serves to call more negativity to it. It also has the interesting effect of drawing more positive publicity and energy to the successful healing modality that is homeopathy, which is currently helping so many people all over the world while you continue to waste your time with mis-information.

  2. "vicarious traumatization?????"

I am guessing that if a therapist is experiencing 'vicarious traumatization' while conducting therapy with a client, they probably aren't helping the client at all. Doubt it? Try asking the client who is 'traumatizing' you. Do you think they are total idiots and they don't know how weak and self-obsessed you are? Try tracking outcomes for once! Try being accountable and watch your 'traumatization' evaporate. The real tragedy: therapists who continue to see a client who they are not helping and then blaming them for their own fucked up head.
