Mitt definitely won on style and presentation. But I still think the biggest losers here are the American public.
Was I the only one who heard throughout the whole thing: "and we will fix blah, blah, blah without cutting anything! people won't have to sacrifice a cent and we'll still balance the budget! and this will restore America to greatness! free pizza, cold beer (or 7UP), and a pony for everyone!"
So for me the debates were a big ol' wash. Pessimistic like that. PW
If Romney wins ti will be the same as Obama -- at least in the realm of economic policy from what I saw last night: kicking the can down the road while pandering to the polls and relying on magical thinking to somehow pull us out of this mess.
At some point magical thinking catches up and bites you on the ass, and I feel a hot breathe on my nether regions...strangely.

*so vote for whichever poison pill you like, because neither one will do anything but poison you...or not vote for either little pill, so at least you can look at yourself in the mirror in the morning (and it won't make a bit of difference except to the individual); unfortunately too many people will fall for the magickal bs and actually believe the horse apples spewing from both their mouths
Couldn't work "Down Low" into Obama's boxing nickname?

I am happy too. Don't get me wrong...but
ReplyDeleteDon't get cocky! This is not over yet.
Never underestimate Team Obama to try to steal it.
And if Mitt Romney wins, we will have to watch him closely. No, I do not trust Romney...I just think he is a better candidate than Barack Obama.

The election hinges on the turnout of the spectral electors. After all, 4 out of 5 dead people vote Democrat.
ReplyDeleteSomehow I think the Democrat voting dead are going to have company this year.
ReplyDeleteSeems like some in the GOP are not averse to using other Democrat tactics, so why not dead voting?

And a religious commonality...imagine that...
