More importantly: when did this legend come about?
[from my own experiences, I've got a nagging hunch that there were/are some men who subscribe to that tripe about women and peacefulness...simply because they want to delude themselves into either the June Cleaver or Earthhippiemothernymph fantasies...which are exactly that, fantasies...rather than deal with the reality of what is cohabiting with them and prepare themselves to deal with it; this has actually been a problem for my girls, who, like the rest of the women in my family, will readily admit to not being particularly peaceful -- but try always to be reasonable -- and, unlike the evidence readily displayed in this video and others like it, actually do know how to fight pretty well...seems a lot of guys would rather roll about in the fantasy anymore]
