An MLK award-winning Madison, Wisconsin pastor and youth counselor wrote an eloquent cry for racial justice that included this quote:
Madison's Ann Althouse really changed that dynamic, giving the pastor's concerns a single 4-sentence paragraph.
She wrote four of her own paragraphs on the Republican's "War On Women" - as presented by Bill Maher.
Obviously commenting on that is more important than the folks living across town.
Gov. Scott Walker - he who isn't doing anything about the black poverty in his state?
Ann's obviously very concerned about his chances (!).
His political situation got 6 paragraphs of Ann's thoughts.
Whether or not the president meant to say "art history" - another 6 paragraphs. Extremely important.
"Impoverished thoughts of retirement"? That got 8 paragraphs - which should fill the hearts of every black guy sitting, illegally, in Madison's prisons - as well as the stomachs of the starving.
Look, with that one, I think I understand the problem:
As blacks fight for our lives, we can't know what a white feminist, making more in a year than blacks make in a lifetime, will find important.
There's simply nothing that can be done:
