Everyone Is Quick To Point Out What's Not True (While Still Ignoring What Is)

"These are, I should stress again, a bunch of nice, thoughtful people.... I should stress again that these are smart people....and they followed the deep partisan grooves of contemporary politics, in which liberals believed the absolute worst of a Trump supporter. But they also contained a thread of real conspiracy thinking — not just that racism is a source of Trumpian politics, but that apparently ordinary people are communicating through secret signals."

Like "nice" and "smart" Mormons (with their polygamy, violence, dishonesty, and child molestation) I've been talking about the the "nice" and "smart" NewAge left for decades now - and paying an awful social cost for doing so. But, others are, finally, starting to see how weird they are, now, too, though. But remember: those "others" are just as oblivious to the right's racism, so "progress" - as it applies to my life - is always one-step-forward, two-steps-back. All kinds of shit's being missed by both sides - and I would say intentionally, if I wasn't sure, they're just stupid oversights, by a generally stupid people. You should know TMR's top three beat-a-dead-horse examples, by heart, by now:
No one's still acknowledged the con that was embedded in Oprah campaigning with Obama - while spreading misinformation and pseudoscience during her 30 year stretch on television - as Seth McFarland reminded us she was doing.
No one's still acknowledged the immorality of Oprah (and Ava Whatshername) trying to make the Cental Park Five out to be innocent - through a bogus Netflix movie - (after Oprah had already promoted John of God, convicted of raping 600 women) creating a real-world lie, regularly repeated on outlets such as VladTV, and even used by Joe Biden against President Trump, in the last election. This one's so easy to research, it's galling.
No one's still acknowledged the rape victims of Bill & Hillary Clinton, as their party claims "the moral high ground". The entire Democrat Party's collective shame - after seeing imaginary white supremacist hand gestures and not these women - is hard to quantify.
