A Worldwide Anti-American Cult That's Out To Bankrupt Us Over Nothing? That's No Big Deal,...

"The phrase 'doomsday cult' entered our collective vocabulary after John Lofland published his 1966 study, 'Doomsday Cult: A Study of Conversion, Proselytization, and Maintenance of Faith.' Lofland wrote about the Unification Church. His subject could almost as easily have been the Church of Warmism."

-- Rich Lowry, making me wonder how so many writers, journalists, commentators, politicians, etc., can see the same things I do - cults, cultish thinking, and other examples of general whack-jobbiness in American society - and never propose to seriously investigate it, or do anything more, than put a ClimateGate article in The National Review.

They're almost as bad as the environmental cult itself (which says there's an emergency but doesn't act like it) when they keep mentioning cultism, and/or cultish thinking, and yet go on like it's normal that even our own citizens are being bamboozled - and put at risk - in this particular way. Oh, and there's a special non-extradition law to protect the Bush/Moon families as they enjoy their old age and run drug/weapons smuggling rings, safe from American justice. And they'll own all the drinking water in the world, or something."
-- Ken Layne, describing the "greatest weirdest Bush conspiracy" on Scoop.com.

Nobody mentions Laura Bush very much - because she's no Hillary Clinton - so, in honor of the First Lady, I'd like to add this other arresting photo I found:
