I Don't Condone Racial Violence (I Also Don't Stupidly Pretend To Ignorantly Wonder Why It Happens Either)

Conservatives can't keep their story straight:

After someone is hurt by blacks in The Knockout Game, they become desperately concerned about the remaining impact on the white victim's lives.

But, after centuries of being brutally "knocked out" of white society's embrace, those same conservatives insist this treatment had no effect on the black victims' lives they must concern themselves with.

It's a very peculiar way of looking at the world,...

Dead In Motion By The Anti-Pop Consortium Is Spot-On

This quote is so wrong-headed it's embarrassing:
There's never been a time when rap didn't have to defend itself. The culture perpetually generates criticism and accusations from every corner: from the political establishment; from proponents of other types of music; and, most crucially, from itself.
Luckily, rap is particularly well equipped to absorb all the criticism it invites, because rap, by its very nature, is a culture in which almost nothing is impermissible. Pathological narcissism, poor taste, and criminal behavior are punishable traits by the standards of the mainstream culture. But within rap, even the most shameful acts are defensible, if only because rap is meant to be a melting pot of egregious behavior and reckless judgment.

Gee, what could I get to counter that argument? How about a never-complained-about True Sounds Of Liberty doing "Code Blue"?

I never got along with the girls at my school

Filling me up with all their morals and their rules

They'd pile all their problems on my head

I'd rather go out and fuck the dead

'Cause I can do what I want and they won't complain

I wanna fuck I wanna fuck the dead

Middle of the night so silently

I creep on over to the mortuary

Lift up the casket and fiddle with the dead

Their cold blue flesh makes me turn red

'Cause I can do what I want and they won't complain

I wanna fuck I wanna fuck the dead

And I don't even care how she died...
But I like it better if she smells of formaldehyde!

Never on the rag or say leave me alone

They don't scream and they don't moan

Don't even cry if I shoot in their hair

Lying on the table she smiles and she stares

Chorus

So, Rock songs about fucking dead girls - performed without irony - are A-O.K., but let a Rapper call a feminist "bitch" and it's the end of Western civilization.

Race problem? What race problem? This is something different altogether.

Until recently, I haven't mentioned race on TMR, and there's a reason:

Too busy discussing American racial double standards with the corpse in my basement,...

The Double Standard: Gays Can Say Anything

Oh yeah - let a rapper speak and you'd think civilization itself was falling, from the reaction,...

"Oh my Gawd, he said the word 'bitch' and you know you can't allow that,..."

Rappers must be stopped at every turn, with public campaigns and denunciations from politicians,..

Meanwhile, all over the nation and the world, gay people have been saying anything and everything without anyone making a peep,...

Don't get me wrong:

This is not a call to shut gays up, or to make new rules,...

Unless the new rules are to shut up hypocrites in Western society.

Extra credit - I've actually seen this happen:

The Macho Response Sincerely Hopes You're All Proud Of Yourselves (You're The Torturers Now)

What we like most is the mind-warping thought this is "sophisticated" behavior, and acting like it's normal:
Our society has pulled off quite the paradoxical feat, being at once tolerant of rampant, base vulgarity and sensitive to the slightest slur. It's much like the Orwellian "doublethink," wherein one can hold two opposing ideas at the same time, believing both to be true.

This week's cashiering of the captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise for making "raunchy" videos on the giant aircraft carrier a few years ago when he was the ship's executive officer illustrates the current extreme sensitivity to anything politically incorrect being said by someone not a member of a protected group.

Protected groups are the designated victims of things insensitive. Victim classes include blacks, Latinos, women, the handicapped, gays, lesbians, transsexuals, Native Americans and — come to think of it — everybody except white men.
Martin Luther King would be so proud - NOT!

Except For Prayer (And The Unnecessary Dig At Dad's DNA) I Think This Christian's Very Funny

"Get your story straight, and tell the truth, for once, for Heaven's sake" is where Christian comic, Anita Renfroe, got a smile out of me (it happens) it's just too bad more people don't take that one to heart once they grow up and move away from home. My life would certainly have been better. It's like they need their Mom and Dad around - forever - to simply be honest. Instead, they want to fill me with all their bullshit reasons why they lied, like I care.

That's probably why so many people are always so paranoid and cynical about the idea of "Big Brother": If lying is a big part of their regular M.O., they've always got something to hide. Which means I've got to be spied on, too, because they're such assholes. And those are the same people who are always crying that I should be trying to make this a better world.

And why is it O.K. (apparently even funny) for a woman to say, "Stop crying or I'll give you something to cry about", but let a man voice anything of the kind and he's a violence-prone asshole who's keeping society's fingers permanently glued to 9-1-1? Double standards, like that, drive me crazy.

So does the dig at the father's DNA: Why do women - even a gathering of Christian women - think that's O.K.? But let any man say any-thing about a woman - totally in reaction to how women behave - and then, they throw the words "sexist" and "misogynist" out, like their shit appears in plastic bags. It's maddening.

Especially because they won't admit it's a double standard. But that much I understand because, once they admit there's a double standard, then they have to admit they're treated better than men - and expect to be treated better than men. So they lie.

And, I guess, that's the whole ball of wax right there. How a woman can go from this:

To this:

But nobody can say, exactly, how that happened.

I guess I'll let another comedian finish this shit - I'm thinking much too seriously today:
