That was Smith College president Kathleen McCartney, in an apology widely criticised by whites as "political correctness," and not for also being an acknowledgment of her lack of American cultural awareness. These white attacks are weird because black's point should be obvious:

Now why does Chris Rock understand the reality whites have created - has to understand that reality - but whites don't?

If, as Chris Rock said, these are "the nicest white people that America has ever produced," then we have a problem. I don't know how to talk to people who are this lost. Who pray to racist distraction over considering the substance of our lives. Who've "lost the plot," and in such a general way.

Right now whites are mourning the death of The New Republic, a 100 year old magazine, with no blacks, that promoted racism - whites didn’t notice anything wrong.

1000s of Nazis were allowed to live in America, with Social Security included, while whites discriminated against American blacks up to and including raping and hanging - and it still hasn't occurred to the whites I know that juxtapositioning was wrong.

Blacks also weren't allowed to vote until 100 years after the laws were on the books - while white folks didn’t notice the wrong and even had to be urged, by MLK at his most eloquent, to see it.

And, today, Sean Hannity (as ignorant as the day is long) is "leading" televised conversations on race - and few whites see anything terribly wrong. They just don't see it.

I'm watching white men insisting, when they are falsely accused of rape by white women (Lena Dunham and Rolling Stone) it’s an outrage, while - historically - that's the reality white men and women have been foisting on black men for centuries. And they just don't see how they look as they battle and cry. They just don't see it.

The lynching photo on my last post went with a story about a white pr firm that didn't know the racist history behind the name they chose, "Strange Fruit." My last post was a reflection of my frustration: “I honestly don’t know what to say.” But then, I’m not a writer: I’m an artist-turned-blogger, trapped in a seemingly impossible situation created by others.

Whites can't "think outside the box" they created

Once again, Chris Rock is in the news - Rockin' It - and, in a column on racism and art in Hollywood, he makes it obvious why this entire place doesn't work - and so few blacks get to work in it:

”You don't have to go to Harvard to have taste.”

No, and not only that, but a lot of college-educated white folks get amply rewarded for having awful taste, trust me. But, besides having taste, what you do have to have, no matter what, is the ability to make racist white people happy - without ruffling their feathers by pointing out their racism.

Isn't it funny, how - especially when raised in their new, supposedly non-racist, "colorblind" culture - few whites ever picked up on that, without prompting? Sheeeiiiit:

The Coolest Thing About Chris Rock's Race Comments Is Crazy Whites Can't Hurt Him Like They Will The Poor

Untouchable - unlike almost everybody else, with black skin, stuck with the "not as crazy"

When Chris Rock recently said “White people were crazy. Now they’re not as crazy," all he was saying was something many blacks say every day. But with his money and platform, unlike poor blacks, Rock can't be shunned, punished, fired, or anything else the "not as crazy" will do in 2014, that further reveals them as,...well, crazy. Here's another white behavior he got away with ratting out:

”We treat racism in this country like it’s a style that America went through. Like flared legs and lava lamps. Oh, that crazy thing we did. We were hanging black people. We treat it like a fad instead of a disease that eradicates millions of people."

"These white's kids are going to make GREAT neighbors for blacks!"

Yep. Centuries of murdering black American citizens - and our relatives - with no punishment, for anyone, because the country was into it? No big deal. Blacks should've gotten over that, and should feel perfectly comfortable with whites by now, right? If you said "Yes," I've got news for you: only a crazy person would think so. Which is "not as crazy" as your forefathers, but still pretty nuts.

Is he out of a job for having a "bad attitude" - or sharing Chris Rock's outlook?

But here's the thing: in the real world, "not as crazy" whites can, and do, retaliate when poor blacks dare to speak these truths - and there's no Civil Rights laws protecting those blacks (against whatever evil whites choose to further perpetuate) under those circumstances. The whites choose to destroy black lives and consider themselves "colorblind" racial warriors for doing so - which is waaay more crazy than most poor blacks can handle.

The perpetuation of white's "crazy" perspective is a huge part of American life 

Right now, blacks hardly talk to whites at all, simply because we know what they can do, will do, and have done - from personal experience. Tell a "not as crazy" white "friend" about the writing of Ta-Nehisi Coates and, if they feel bad about it, we also have to watch our backs for the results of their "not as crazy" emotional upheaval: maybe they'll start spreading a rumor the poor black is now a racist, or the "not as crazy" whites will begin changing the terms of a make-or-break deal for the poor black (ensuring the poor "racist" black can't succeed) or any number of other options at their disposal from the perch of white supremacy and privilege. 

Forcing the non-crazy into reasoning with the insane is insane

Considering they outnumber us 6 to 1, and most blacks have several white friends (as compared to the average white's one black associate) that's multiple cases of "not as crazy" blow-back a poor individual  must contend with absorbing, merely for speaking to your fellow well-moneyed citizens honestly.

"To say that black people have made progress would be to say they deserve what happened to them,..."

White people are still crazy - and, maybe, just as evil - as they have always been

Oh well, unless they're a cop, at least the "not as crazy" can't just outright kill us any longer,...

The Race To Grow Up Fast In The NewAge? (It's Mine)

I think, it's pretty safe to say, the new millennium has finally kicked in for America (because it waited too long to define itself) and so, we're at just about the point where our different culture is making it's way into being - mostly because it's not backing down:

  “Fuck the South. Fuck 'em. We should have let them go when they wanted to leave. But no, we had to kill half a million people so they'd stay part of our special Union. Fighting for the right to keep slaves - yeah, those are states we want to keep.”

Witch doctors have just as much dignity 

Yes, I sense the forces of evil making way, so the battle for our cultural wreckage's coherency has begun, with the first of the broken shards being laid just-so:

  “Just how screwed up is Wisconsin?”

"The good life," as defined by others, was always a cheap and crappy cornball concoction 

"The first shall be last and the last shall be first" is the biblical lesson, which everyone's taking from, that's stood the test of time:

  “If poor people knew how rich rich people are, there would be riots in the streets. If the average person could see the Virgin Airlines first-class lounge, they’d go, ‘What? What? This is food, and it’s free, and they … what? Massage? Are you kidding me?’”

How do you say "Bye-bye, Miss American Pie" in spanish? 

 Another way to say it - just as popular in the modern world - is "Babylon must fall": 

 “There's very strong feelings out there that we shouldn't give people money for nothing.”

The difference, between being "somebody" and "any body", is going to drive celebrities crazy 

 And it must, because few Americans are going to go another hundred years listening to moneyed fools, spouting nonsense:

  “I hate to say it, but a lot of it had to do with the women’s lib movement.”

Those with the blues can smile again

Now other lives will matter - as much as they always did - even when the previous "thought leaders" thought not:

  “The single worst moment in Officer Darren Wilson’s testimony about the day he shot Michael Brown came when he called the unarmed teenager “it,” saying at one point, “it looks like a demon.” He also compared him to “Hulk Hogan” and described him as “bulking up” as if to magically “run through” his bullets. But somehow the word “it” cut through the delusional, self-aggrandizing dramatics and showed the problem at the heart of their encounter: To Wilson, Mike Brown wasn’t human. “It” was a “demon.”

Yet Wilson’s often incredible testimony about the threat posed by Brown carried the day, and the grand jury declined to indict the cop for killing the unarmed teen,…”

This bit should've been a tip-off to where all this was going

 They had all the time in the world to get their story straight:

   “Yeah, it’s unfair that you can get judged by something you didn’t do, but it’s also unfair that you can inherit money that you didn’t work for.”



All of their credibility is gone

 But now they're old, their mind's broken, without even a leg to stand on:

  “No one really wants to admit I exist.” 

And all because of a "demon" race - with it's pants down

Time for them - all - to go:

  "I have always been proud of my association with Temple University. I have always wanted to do what would be in the best interests of the university and its students. As a result, I have tendered my resignation . . ."

What Are White People Defending But A Right To Lie?

Since when is not wanting to lose your life merely a different point of view?

Ann Althouse's and her son John Althouse Cohen's mother-son racism disposal team appears to find great comfort in this Bill Clinton malarky, much like the Confederate's loved ones found joy in rumours of a win for the South:

"You know, Americans have come so far since, let's say, the era of Joe McCarthy. I mean, think about it. We're less racist. We're less sexist. We're less homophobic than we used to be. We only have one remaining bigotry. We don't want to be around anybody who disagrees with us."

Where has, how far whites have come, gotten blacks?

Naturally, all you have to do is add black Americans to the dialogue and you'll notice "we're" having less of a disagreement than white's, specifically, are still copping a pose - trying to be slippery, so as to insist white's rate of "progress" (AKA who they can stand to be around) be the status quo:

"To say that black people have made progress would be to say they deserve what happened to them before. 

So, to say Obama is progress is saying that he’s the first black person that is qualified to be president. That’s not black progress. That’s white progress. There’s been black people qualified to be president for hundreds of years."

That was too easy for dispatching a white law professor:

 There's a few racially revealing moments during Chris Rock's episode of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, like this one: 

Chris Rock: "As my brother would say [Between Beyoncé and Alicia Keys] 'Pick a bitch.'" 

Jerry Seinfeld: "The analogy always has to be black artists, right?" 

Chris Rock: [almost uncomfortably]: "I'm black,...Jerry." 

There are other instances too, but I'll tell you what you won't find: 

There's not one instance where Chris Rock gets perturbed the car is made by whites, they're in a white café, it's a white show, with probably a white crew, with a "white" star, drinking white coffee drinks - nothing. Only Jerry Seinfeld is working on that level, and putting it on Chris amongst whites because Chris' life doesn't happen to be exclusively white (would he say that in a Soul Food establishment?) 

All that white stuff is a part of Chris' life as much as Jerry's because he's an American - but it's not enough - it's implied he's also got to give up black references, too, or he's questioned. What does Glenn Reynolds always say about incentives? 

God, I love that man.

 But he and Jerry aren't the ones with the problem.

And Chris Rock wasn't the only one just making conversation over coffee,…

 

White Conservatives Won't Hate Obama If They See This

This is why Richard Pryor is the world's greatest stand-up - and not Jerry Sienfeld. 

This is why everyone alive can recite at least part of Chris Rock's "Black People Vs. Niggas" routine, but can't name a single Jerry Sienfeld bit. 

It's why most blacks have never watched a single episode of Seinfeld. 

It's why black people on Seinfeld almost always met a bad fate. 

And, of course, George Carlin was a comedic simpleton for observing, when white guys hang out with blacks, they also start acting like them - but not the other way around. 

Oh, and don't forget how pissed off the notoriously racist Paul Mooney got after he hired a lot of now-famous great white comedians for work with Richard Pryor but - because of attitudes like Jerry Seinfeld's - they made Mooney fend for himself when he went solo. 

All of it, stupid, pointless, and unimportant to comedy. 

Just like Jerry Seinfeld.
