White Women Are Totally Oblivious To The Harm They Caused (And Still Perpetuate) Within Western Society

"Why do black women talk about white privilege? Isn't the issue male privilege?"

White women are part of the problem:

For example, if a white woman is too dense to understand the science behind ebola (to the point where she prematurely loses her bobble head and - before an almost totally white audience - declares "it's time to panic") and then publicly blames a black person for her own stupidity without ever offering a retraction of her claim, it's not a stretch to say that particular white woman is a danger to blacks:

Ann Althouse is a danger to blacks,...

Dygnitee

Black culture has a lot of faults, but providing us with better things to do with our time than stereotyping whites, isn't one of them:

Without that noise, constantly playing in the background, blacks might've been able to embarrass ourselves:

But, considering everything, I doubt it,…

Lem's Comment Home & Sixty Grit (Ride It Till The End)

White people can't escape history, so trying to hide it with lies was always - and always will be - futile. It's not the crime, but the cover-up - you compound the problem - which was you made a problem, to begin with:

Before you get your mob to "chastise" me further - TMR's Sweepstakes To Prove American Slavery Wasn't Some Ancient Phenomena continues - featuring Michael "50 Years" Richards, Bill "A Few Years Ago" Clinton, yours truly, and now these two:

I Need Specifics: "We Shall Overcome, Suuuundaaaay!"

It's Louis C.K.'s most well-known bit, so few can deny it's out there:

What's not out there, usually, are the results:

Or why we get those results:

America's created a racist culture, born out of slavery and Jim Crow:

A culture - to the outsider - as obviously twisted as Nazi Germany's:

No, seriously - I'm talking painfully obvious,...

Understanding: How Do White People Keep Their Jobs?

In 12 Years a Slave, a white indentured servant doesn't pick as much cotton as the blacks but, unlike them, he's not whipped.

That's a permanent feature of American society.

I hear some whites want Obama out because, supposedly, he's not up to the job.

I say, start setting a better example and we can talk,...

NewAge Is A "Spiritual Practice" (And They Do Practice)

She said:

As though atheists can ignore the religious' evangelical tendencies.

And, since we know this, who is actually deigning to "bother" whom?

And who - as usual - is "blaming the victim" here?

("Blaming the victim" - I am enjoying these Flaws In A Perfect System - our popular catchphrases for the casual cruelties Americans needlessly inflict.)

She said:

Oh my dear, you are aware the divorced are listening, aren't you?

Why aren't they - or, even better, their religious spouses - more emphatic?

Do you seriously think a fanatic is being rational, or even helping, when they're all "you think you're so rational" towards the subject?

Mocking the very endeavor society builds on - while insisting we must be empathetic towards the irrational - what does that reveal?

Didn't I just mention evangelism?

She said:

"Seekers of knowledge and truth" - yeah, sure.

Having been there before, we know there is no "possibility that religious people are seekers of knowledge and truth" when they've always insisted - as you are right here - that batting away knowledge is the way to truth.

You are, once again, arguing for insanity and nothing more.

And doing so insanely.

And I even understand why - which is why it's my job to tell you:

Avoiding "being a jerk" is NOT what this is all about,...

I Know The Dumb Nigger Vote (It's All I Get Credit For)

I think the answer to the following question is because we, as godless types, are not (usually) as frivolous towards facts as the larger culture. But, I'm aware, there might be other reasons, too:

Whatever the answer, I also think it's ultimately a product of the dishonesty ingrained in NewAge culture:

As I repeatedly saw (and tried to show) during Mitt Romney's run for the presidency, atheists are ignorantly, too-easily, and wrongly persecuted as "bigots" for merely pointing out a fact - religious and "spiritual" believers act on their beliefs - while gay issues (just like the feminist issue of abortion) are almost exclusively regulated to being argued against the dictates and merits of religious belief, like no other outlook or argument exists, or ever has or will.

NewAgers were using Jesus to, both, condemn and find safety.

These unethical proponents are found to be more-than-willing to blow smoke up our asses - to get the results they want - at truth's expense. Which is fitting, considering.

I guess, if you really want to understand the hypocrisy inherent in such positions, you should maybe ask somebody popular in the conservative blogosphere, like Glenn Reynolds or Ann Althouse, why they behaved the way they did back then:

They're supposed to be the educators,...

My Bad - I Forgot (People Don't Like To Understand It)

Rowan Williams, the former Archbishop of Canterbury, has a few choice words for Christians and, I suspect, a lot of other folks:
"When you've had any contact with real persecuted minorities you learn to use the word very chastely,...Persecution is not being made to feel mildly uncomfortable. 'For goodness sake, grow up,' I want to say." He added the level of "not being taken very seriously" or "being made fun of" in Britain and the United States is not comparable to the "murderous hostility" faced by others,....
Boy, if he had said that before Trayvon, maybe the 70-80% of white Americans might have, at least, understood the black reaction (though blacks were still incorrect),...
