Manson Is Cultism's Sun (We've Stared At For So Long We're Blinded To All Else)

When I was little, Manson - and all the other cults - were an anomaly. If you'd told me, then, that cultism would grow to become a thing (that, fascinated by bullshit, their kids would have kids, just as determined to sucker others into what their parents got them into) I wouldn't have believed you. But then, I'm an atheist:

I don't immediately believe anything.

So Close, So Close And Yet So FAAAAAAAAARRRRRR!

I read this, and am now opening a celebratory beer:
"Youngest Manson Family Member Denied Parole"
Please don't get the wrong idea:

I'm just happy I'll still know exactly where to send MY second "marriage" proposal,...

Theory: JFK And MLK Were Shot By Jealous Husbands

"If only everyone were nonviolent, wouldn't that be nice?" -- Ann Althouse
Ask Charlie Manson, Oh Great Baby Boomer who vowed to stay married and couldn't even pull off that individual commitment to simply loving one of your fellow men.

Boomers are amazing sometimes - always demanding, nudging, and/or wishing others would create the well-run society they were always too frisky to participate in. How they ever expected a non-violent world out of the disasters they "left" us (political pun, intended) is anybody's guess.

They high-jacked the Civil Rights Movement to suck dick.

After they're gone (and we're finally done with them polishing their own knobs) it'll be divorce and all it's real-world ramifications for others - the destruction, hatred, confusion, abandonment, poverty, death, etc. - that will be their ultimate legacy.

America's destruction was NOT "Have A Nice Day".

It'll take generations to fix what they've done to us - and won't that be really (not superficially) "nice"?

All the hippies/NewAgers/feminists/gays, etc., taught us is whores love everybody - and they could create them faster than any other generation in history.

"Love the one you're with,..."

Hip-Pumping Chants Of "Un-Un" Would Work Better

So it will never be said The Crack Emcee doesn't give credit when credit is due, let me be the first to say - when comparing his treatment of women to others like him - North Korean cult leader Kim Jong Un is light years ahead of the rest. He just got married, so he's not forcing, or tricking anybody into having sex with him. I've never heard a claim that he "heals" people to death (though there was a nasty little rumor going around that his dad made the sun come up) and, rather than having these women kill their kids - somehow - he says, "Go out, smile and sing 'Our Dear Leader' so I'll let you wear mini skirts!" Whattaguy!?!

Shit, I don't think The Source Family band even had women in it, and - Beach Boys or no Beach Boys - I don't have to tell anybody who the star was whenever "Charlie" picked up the guitar.

No, when it comes to women, Kim Jong Un is Da Man! Sure, most of his people are eating grass, but (as we all know) feminism is the most important economic downturn development of the last century and, so, will supersede all else into the next - for the kids.
Who are these powerhouse women who are out-earning their spouses?
Pew found that 65% are white, that they tended to be older, and that they were at least as well-educated as their mates.
Unfortunately, the fastest growing group of primary-breadwinner moms are undereducated women whose median family income in 2011 was only $17,400.
Again - somehow the career of Ann Althouse, existing on the stale fart of feminism (and her second "husband") reveals all.

Back on track, the narcissistic North Korean Pop star, Psy, must've really spooked the North for Kim to do this. His new band is called Moranbong, a name that's definitely missing an "o" where that "a" is (Whatever his other qualities, Kim is not the hawt in-touch producer,..) And, since I don't really have any other criteria for how to judge Cult Leader Pop - not to mention Korean Cult Leader Pop - usually relying on the tried-and-true method of sniffing out a cult leader's involvement ("Is he/she a cult leader? Right ON!") I can only judge them after asking myself:

If I was a cult leader, would I find Moranbong so attractive I couldn't torture them - somehow - if they missed a note while performing my latest compositional confection? Naaaaah, they're great:

They'd love me even more for it,...

Swinging Dicks: Cultural Wreckage Of Weak Hydraulics

A little girl cornered a McDonald's CEO to complain about the menu.

I know a Vegan couple that'd be glad to have her.

Wanna Life Lesson in Fighting the Culture of Bullshit?

Go around telling everybody How JFK secretly ADMIRED Hitler. It's a start.

Antoine Dodson has given up the Gay for God - to be good.

Even the Pope knows being good is the point, not announcements about your sex life.

Except for my not agreeing with the choices, why 10 Rap Cult Classics You Need to Hear?

Because your collection's full of freaks, that's why.

Is there new evidence in the Manson case? I don't know.

I do know men think women with tramp stamps are easy, but women eventually forget it.

Their husbands suffer in silence for a lifetime.

But all they have to do is look around this great country of ours to know they're not alone.

Like so much else these days, it's a way of life,...

One Of The Greatest Leaders To Come Out Of The '60s Has Spoken: Recycle Something - Fast!

I don't know how long it's going to take for people to understand the connection, between cultism and the various obsessions society seems to be nursing, but here's a headline that ought to, at least, bring a few more people closer to the obvious:
Global warming must be true, Charles Manson believes in it. Killer breaks 20-year silence on 40th anniversary of gruesome Sharon Tate murders

Crazed cult leader Charles Manson has broken a 20-year silence in a prison interview coinciding with the 40th anniversary of his conviction for the gruesome Sharon Tate murders - to speak out about global warming.

The infamous killer, who started championing environmental causes from behind bars, bemoaned the 'bad things' being done to environment in a rambling phone interview from his Californian jail cell.

'Everyone’s God and if we don’t wake up to that there’s going to be no weather because our polar caps are melting because we’re doing bad things to the atmosphere.

'If we don’t change that as rapidly as I’m speaking to you now, if we don’t put the green back on the planet and put the trees back that we’ve butchered, if we don’t go to war against the problem...' he added, trailing off.

Manson, who described himself to his interviewer as a 'bad man who shoots people', brainwashed members of a commune known as The Family into butchering eight people including film director Roman Polanski’s pregnant wife Sharon Tate in July and August 1969.

Speaking to Vanity Fair Spain magazine of the killing spree he led his crazed disciples on, the 76-year-old said: 'I live in the underworld. I don’t tell people what to do. They know what to do.

'If they don’t know what to do they don’t come around me because I’m very mean, I’m very mean.'

Interspersing English with Spanish, he added: 'I’m very mal hombre, nasty.

'I’m in the bullring. I run in the bullring with the heart of the world.'

'I don’t play. I shoot people.

'I’m too bad. I’m a mean guy. I’m an outlaw. I’m a criminal. I’m everything bad.'
Yeah. "Everyone's God." NewAge all the way.

Now, I know, for most people this will mean nothing. It's just a crazy cult killer, spewing what he's heard going on out here back at us.

But if you were me, uncovering the history and influence of cults on our society, it fits perfectly into the larger mosaic of mindlessness we've been on since Charlie roamed our streets, partying with The Beach Boys, sure The Beatles were sending secret messages just to him. What do I mean by that? Well, let me put it to you this way:

Charlie Manson, who still gets cell phones smuggled to him and fan mail, has never been alone. And especially not in his beliefs.

Back To The Future Of The Scene Of The Crime

Hippies! NewAge! Race! Beliefs! Everything you couldn't let go of!

But you're all grown up now, right? Oh, man, I like it:
TROUBLED Lindsay Lohan has been offered the part of murder victim Sharon Tate in a film about crazed cult leader Charles Manson.
Jesus, you freaks, everything seems to be spinning out of control!

Or is it finally all coming together?

Quick - Somebody Call Gavin Newsom!!! No - Wait (We're Sure He's Already There,...)

This is Nicole Daedone. She runs San Francisco's One Taste Urban Retreat Center. It's a sex cult. How do we know it's a sex cult? Nicole "studied" with Victor Baranco, and in the 70's - along with Charlie Manson - Rolling Stone featured Ol' Vic in a book:

"Mindfuckers: A Source Book on the Rise of Acid Fascism in America, Including Material on Charles Manson, Mel Lyman, Victor Baranco, and their Followers. By David Felton. Straight Arrow Books, 1972."

Nice "sexy" title, huh? Here's a quote from Mindfuckers:

"Charles Manson, Victor Baranco and Mel Lyman, the superheroes of the following stories, are mindfuckers simply because they have made it their business to fuck men's minds and to control them. They’ve succeeded by assuming godlike authority and using such mindfucking techniques as physical and verbal bullying and group humiliation."

And now it's Nicole's "business". You fucking idiots,...add sex to the mix and the creeps can get you every time.

Dissecting The New Age Movement, Part III: What's The Indicator A Person Is A Cultist?

This is the image most people have when they hear the words "cult" or "cultists" - but we know most cultists aren't that obvious - so what's the indicator a person is a cultist?

Let's take a look at a few of the most well-known cultists and see if you can spot it:

David Koresh

Oprah Winfrey

Marshall Applewhite

Charlie Manson

Jim Jones

J.Z. Knight

Shirley MacLaine

Rev. Sun Myung Moon (and wife)

So, the question was:

What's The Indicator A Person Is A Cultist?

And the correct answer is:

The ideas they claim to believe.

Turn Out The Light (More Cult Of Obama)

New Age America Is Entranced By Obama's Electoral Aura

The best-selling American new age guru Deepak Chopra* is fond of the word "quantum": reading his work, one begins to suspect that he has it set up as a shortcut in Microsoft Word, so that he doesn't have to type it out in full every time he wants to refer to "quantum health", "quantum healing" or "the quantum mind".
*Don't forget: this is the same Deepak Chopra who first came to our attention when he was busted for sneaking a Maharishi-backed paper full of bogus B.S. into the Journal of American Medicine - TMR.

This kind of thing makes physicists want to sob uncontrollably, so they've learned to ignore him. But not long ago, Chopra used the word in a new context that bears closer inspection: if Barack Obama enters the White House as president next January, he declared, "it will represent a quantum leap in American consciousness"*.
*Which has always been a goal of the American public,....

Chopra, it turns out, is far from alone. A curious side-story in this year's election campaign is that the new age movement in the US has embraced Obama even more fervently than most of his supporters. New agers are traditionally liberal, so it's no surprise that they're backing the Democratic candidate. But the question that's been gathering steam among them in recent weeks goes much further than that, and brings - shall we say - a whole other dimension to the race: could Obama be a "lightworker"?
"New agers are traditionally liberal,..."? You don't say! I always thought they were rock-ribbed traditionalists!

"Many spiritually advanced people* I know ... identify Obama as a lightworker, that rare kind of attuned being who [can] actually help usher in a new way of being on the planet," wrote the San Francisco Chronicle columnist Mark Morford in a piece headlined "Is Obama an Enlightened Being?" On the higher astral planes of the blogosphere, the notion met with enthusiasm. "He may play a major role," one blogger wrote, "in bringing us to [what] the Hopi Indians call the Great Shift." The endorsement of Oprah Winfrey, increasingly involved in new age spirituality, underscored the point.
*And if these people are "spiritually advanced," what does that make you?

The cultish side of Obama-worship has been noted before: the online magazine Slate has been running an Obama Messiah Watch, as has a blog, obamamessiah.blogspot.com. Star Wars creator George Lucas said - perhaps facetiously - that he thought it "reasonably obvious" that Obama was a Jedi knight. But the Obama-as-lightworker notion is more than a matter of tone. We're talking about the dawning of the age of aquarius.
He's leaving out CNN, FOX, etc. - and, of course, TMR - but in a country known for burning David Koresh and his followers, jailing Charlie Manson and his, and the mass suicides of Heaven's Gate and the People's Temple, who can complain about the "cultish side" of anything in America?

New agers are often unfairly maligned*: look at life through a slightly different lens, and you instantly get associated with a tiny handful of crystals-cure-cancer maniacs. But if they want their preferred candidate to win, they might consider keeping quiet for now. Already, the right, in the form of unhinged pundit Michelle Malkin, has started exploiting the story to mock the Democrats. And Obama has quite enough to do to fight the threat of pigeonholing - as "the black candidate", "the elite candidate" - without becoming the kooky candidate too**.
-- Oliver Burkeman, catching TMR's vapors, in The Guardian.

*Who says it's unfair?

**Too late.
