I Probably Saved Some Blacks With This Post (And Damn If I Don't Feel Rich For Doing It!!!)

I've got to remember to occasionally shout out to black folks, so they'll know every nigga didn't vote for Obama, and to pay attention to cult shit, too.

Something like this:

Hey - black folks - every nigga didn't vote for Obama, and goddammit, watch out for cults or that People's Temple shit is gonna get you again! Don't drink the Kool-Aid! As a matter of fact, if I were you, I'd cut Kool-Aid completely out of my motherfuckin' diet, just to be on the safe side. Don't forget:

White folks won't tell you this, because they think it's a joke, until they leading you into some pit of Hell that don't make no motherfuckin' sense.

Like yoga.

Does anybody else remember that story about a black girl who killed The Ramones' manager with a yoga stick? Everybody was like "Aww, why'd she do that? She was so cool!" when all I was thinking was you can't put no black person with no yoga stick! Everybody will fucking die!

White people do yoga to calm down (why y'all always so nervous and jumpy?) But black people? Well, we won't even go into what black people are.

Anyway, another black girl done killed a yogi, but they ain't said if a yoga stick is involved yet:
On the night of Friday, March 11, Jayna Murray and Brittany Norwood both entered a well-trafficked Lululemon Athletica clothing store in the tony suburb of Bethesda, Md., where they both worked. They'd returned there after hours because Norwood had left her wallet.

The following morning, Murray was dead and Norwood was found tied up in the back of the store, which specializes in yoga apparel. Police said both women had been raped. The crime terrified the Bethesda community, which feared that two brutal killers were in their midst. Stores shuttered early; proprietors installed security cameras in their businesses and hired security guards to walk employees to their cars at night.

Then the real-life murder mystery took a surprising twist: On March 18, police charged the second victim, Norwood, who is African American, with the murder of Murray, who was white. It's a story that national media, from Good Morning America to the Daily Beast, quickly jumped on as speculation rose from all corners about the primary facts and motivations in the crime. But there are a few angles that have not yet been discussed.
You can go back and read the rest of the article if you want, but you can probably guess that the shit I want to discuss ain't the same shit they want to discuss, nor am I all broke up about this, because they were yogis, or there's a black girl involved, or any of that kind of shit. I mean, first of all, let's be clear:

A motto of this blog is "The only good Yogi is a dead Yogi" so, unless your ass is Yogi Bear, I'm probably not going to get all misty about your passing.

Not to mention, this particular crime has lots of "extras" for me, because (I don't know if you caught it but) this was at a Lululemon Athletica clothing store! And what is Lululemon Athletica? It's part of The Landmark Forum cult! Yea! So this is like a fourfer! We got rid of two yogis and two cultists and didn't nobody have to do shit but leave them to their own yoga cult devices.

Man, some days, you just can't ask for anything more,...

Ingraham Vs. O'Reilly: I Really, Really Love This

This is how it's supposed to go - two adults discussing current events. She says he's drinking Kool-Aid, he calls her stupid, nobody freaks out. They don't even bat an eye. And, I'm sure, Bill will have her back on; might even have her host a show or two, one day, because she's sharp and serious.

Now, can you imagine if there was one of those passive-aggresive super-sensitive NewAge liberals involved in this exchange? Or one of these libertarian or conservative elitists? They're above criticism. Oh, they'd be screaming how insulted they are, or, surely, banishing someone! You're so bitter! Verbal abuse!

Of course, they reserve the right to call others stupid when they see fit, but it's when you who call them stupid on occasion, or point out where their logic is skewed, you've crossed the rubicon of civil discourse! You're clearly a bad person, unworthy of having your ideas - good or otherwise - promoted. (And, as we all know, not promoting good ideas is better for everyone, right? Or is it just them?) Face it:

These assholes think their shit don't stink.

Well, their shit does stink - it stinks to high heaven - and I applaud Laura Ingraham and Ted Baxter Bill O'Reilly for showing us why:

People can talk, even argue, without getting all bent out of shape by the words being used.

It's called maturity, and too many today, in positions of influence, don't possess it.

Exit question: ever see Glenn Reynolds & Co. debate someone they disagree with?

Ha: No One Has Any Idea Why We Talk Like This

"Maybe Rahm Emanuel is guilty of disloyalty, but he might be the only thing keeping Obama tethered to the reality-based community.

The president is surrounded by acolytes of the Cult of Obama. They consider him to be a 'transformational figure' who need not sully himself with the usual rules of politics. The president agrees, rejecting suggestions that he recalibrate his Olympian ambitions.

That’s not me saying that, nor one of my knuckle-dragging, baby-eating right-wing brethren. It’s Dana Milbank, the liberal
Washington Post writer widely seen by most conservatives as Maureen Dowd in drag.

Milbank wrote a column on February 21 arguing that all the president’s problems can be attributed to a single factor. 'Obama’s first year fell apart in large part because he didn’t follow his chief of staff’s advice on crucial matters,' writes Milbank, referring to Rahm Emanuel, apparently the only senior staffer who hasn’t drunk the Obama Kool-Aid."
-- Jonah Goldberg, almost causing me to call The NewAge Language Police - it's a crime when someone rational openly talks like this and no one arrests Oprah - but I decided to let a cooler head prevail, and instead merely filed this report, on behalf of The National Review.

Rush Limbaugh Is Channeling TMR!!!

TMR doesn't know if anyone else is listening to The EIB Network (right!) but the man behind The Golden Microphone is singing our song: it's cult, cult, cult all the way now!!! There's talk of Jim Jones, drinking Kool-Aid, and every other aspect of political cultism this site has been dedicated to exposing - and all of it tied to Barack Obama.

Rush has been dancing around this for a while, so his listeners aren't exactly up to speed (one caller had to ask where the phrase "Kool-Aid drinker" came from) but The Great One is closing in on this phenomena, and how it's infected our political class, so (hopefully) it's just a matter of time before someone makes him aware of TMR so we can outline this for Rush and his listeners. Of course, fans of TMR can help:

Call The Rush Limbaugh Show (1-800-282-2882) and ask "the last man standing" to get in touch.

TMR would be honored to speak with him.
