Taking A "Side" In A World Spinning Round (With No Understanding Of Orbits)

TMR always feels kind of frustrated when peeking over to Instapundit, to see Glenn Reynolds, say, "punching down" to call Harvard students "enemies of civilization," instead of admitting the obvious:

Our educators aren't much when it comes to, you know, educating.
Otherwise, Harvard students (and others) would think the "correct" thoughts about Middle East wars, right-right? But, apparently, they don't. Instead, they share a singular vision:
From the outside looking in, anti-Zionists appear to think Israel was created from Nazi terror, but - for Israel to exist - it's had to terrorize the Palestinians. Now, if there's a problem with that narrative, some lie of omission or missing piece of evidence, I would think educators would make it their job to expose that, and end all disagreement. But, instead, "Teachers" call young people names.
Of course, TMR views all conflict as the inevitable result of people lacking reason. But very few are interested in fighting the enemies of reason - religion, other superstitious beliefs, and pseudoscience - that both Jews and Palestinians (and Iranians and Americans) share. Nah, history shows, in order to keep those going, they'd rather take metal tongs to each other if necessary.
Human Beings: Always using the old noggin.

Consider The Source (And You'll Never Trust Anyone's Editorial Ever Again)

No, Karen, We're Not Masking Again, says Glenn Reynolds, who once wanted to run black people down with his car.
Public Health Mandates Aren't Political, says Donna Brazile, who once lost her job because she cares about political integrity so much, she stole Presidential debate questions for Hillary Clinton.
Trumpian Politics Return to Amercia, says Robert Reich, who hasn't noticed Trump has only left the White House - while Bill Clinton is still a rapist.

The Score

Like Democrats protecting Bill Clinton from rape charges, Ann Althouse, Glenn Reynolds, and the rest of their blogging crew can be 100% wrong - and they often are - but no one can reach them.
They, on the other hand, can - and do - cause harm to others: most of them have thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of followers - who act on their command like they're Oprah - to buy things, read things, assume certain political positions. Some have newspaper columns, or appear on TV, or are quoted by others. After years with them, online, I feel I can say with authority that any black person, outside of their orbit, has reason to be skeptical, or even fear them and what they're trying to accomplish, because it's not revealing any truth for us, or bettering our lives.
They're mostly racial gatekeepers, and there's no way to deal with them. They enjoy debating the most stupid racial arguments, ignoring anyone thoughtful who opposes them. The only blacks they give voice to are representing a sliver of us, and are usually considered Toms by the others. They shut down dialogues when THEY see fit - which is usually after admitting they're not winning the argument - NOT a good situation for a public professor, out to make a little cash from Google and Amazon sales, to be in. They can make sure debates don't happen, or determine the parameters of those that do. They'll read an issue wrong, then make that the issue they're debating. If they want to tune anyone out, deny their arguments a hearing, pretend a real answer isn't out there (after they declared a situation hopeless) so be it: they'll be unfair liars. No skin off their teeth. Their sales - and the ease with which they make them - continue. That's what's important. I have seen, experienced, and been told this, by them.
They are the political right's blogosphere, demanding blacks join them or - like Joe Biden said - we're not very bright, or not really black.

When The Religious Are Smarter Than College Professors (Education's Done)

“The reality is that if we had shown as much sorrow for the painful legacy that racism and discrimination has left in our country as we have passion to decry [critical race theory], we probably wouldn’t be in this mess.”

- Southern Baptist Convention President J.D. Greear, making an easy call, Glenn Reynolds (always trying to pose as a tough guy) is too dumb to grasp, as he further whips up the potential automobile murder brigades of the right, on Instapundit.

Conservatives Now Hope France Will Fix "Woke" Culture - That Conservatives Blame On Blacks (Though Everyone Keeps Telling The Racists It IS French)

Even more peculiar was that I was in France when Oprah started campaigning with Obama, so - unlike the American news media - I couldn't ignore the 30+ years she had been spreading conspiracy theories, misinformation, pseudoscience, and race-based historical inaccuracies - just like they were doing in France when I was living there. That sidelined me, early, when I got back: I was the first man "canceled" over being aware of this transmission.

Now, today - also unlike the American news media - I don't focus much (if at all) on the year and a few months QAnon has been around, after all the Jim Jones-like evidence, of the left's mystical malfeasance, abandoned for anyone who wants to find it. All I can do is wait - until the world "wakes up" to the similarities, between what we're seeing, today, and how France has always been living.

Or, at least, wait for this idiot to see it - who (as usual) lays the blame on blacks - but A) ain't black and never will be B) never been to France, so knows little about it or them, and C) still wantonly spreads misinformation about both subjects, like he knows something, he seriously can't claim to have a clue about.

The Conservatives Hate Cancel Culture (While Insisting No One's Ever A Victim)

Since (sadly) this has always been my take, it's easy to see opinions are judged on knee-bending, and not how ahead-of-the-curve or accurate they are, in the conservative blogosphere.

Instapundit Is Saturday Night Live, The Oprah Winfrey Show, And France, Now

Jesus Fucking Christ, make it stop.

I get as frustrated by reading Instapundit as a black person, as I do watching Saturday Night Live as a conservative.

Glenn Reynolds sells just another stupid "narrative" - just as biased, just as stupid, and just as dishonest - with little-to-no bearing on my life.

If I want to be entertained, reading Instapundit (or the racist commenters at Althouse) is a good way to watch BLM cause white people to lose their minds. (Remember when whites said blacks aren't human - for CENTURIES - and we had to live with that? It upsets them, that anyone would say that, now, about themselves - after centuries of them doing that to us. The idea, that they should have have to live with what they inflict on others - without compensation - is horrifying,...to them. They don't think it should've been, to anyone who had to live through it, on the receiving end of their attacks - because fairness).
Instapundit STUPIDLY says Obamacare was the turning point for the American left - not when Bill and Hillary were inviting "psychics" and "gurus" to the White House (to talk to dead people, which Kamala Harris also believes can be done) creating a whole new level of power in American politcs - to help them. These so-called conservatives (clearly) think that was *perfectly normal behavior* (rolls eyes). Andrew Breitbart told them - politics is DOWNSTREAM FROM CULTURE - but they don't even listen to HIM. That's how dumb THEY are. Marianne Williamson for PRESIDENT? HELLO!!
Conservatives notice when Media Begins Noticing Cuomo’s Toxic Culture … When Aimed At Dems - but their own toxicity (especially to blacks) goes unnoticed, unattended, and uncared for - see the long-ignored Republican 2012 Autopsy on Race if you want proof. They sincerely don't care, and I can say that after more than a decade around them. Conservative whites care as much, about being right on race, as liberals do about Oprah being wrong on everything. They, too, just want POWER - not justice for Americans or a better country, or a more perfect union. They - literally - could care less.
Notice how often Glenn Reynolds is pumping up the (normally) hated French now? THAT's another way to know he's full of shit.
Another is how giddy he gets over his ugly, recurring, theme of running blacks down with the car. And the fact no one turns on him for it. They're just racists of the highest order.
The man's a so-called "leader" from another, much more racist age, and - like Oprah Winfrey - he's also been selling quackery for far too long. It, clearly, fucks with the mind in dangerous ways.

Quackery Is The One Currency (The Crazies On Both "Sides" Are Wallowing In)

I know I'm watching Glenn Reynolds stoking political trouble on Instapundit when I see him promoting questions like Whose side do you think the Reality Czar will come down on?
It should eventually register that, by encouraging the right to set it's hair on fire each morning, these crazy conservatives have lost all sense of nuance, just like the Democrats - there has to be a "side" - not some things "true" and some "false" on both sides, but ONE HAS TO BE COMPLETELY EXONERATED OR CONDEMNED FOR THEM TO BE HAPPY. Truth is beside the point. Pitting us at each other's throats pays the bills.
That's because anyone who thinks they're on a "side" - as an American citizen - is already crazy. But, especially crazy conservatives who promote quackery.

Instapundit Be Hyping Some Crazy Angry Asshole Bitches (To "Reason" With)

It's pretty funny how white conservatives can understand not trusting the Democrats after only three years of "Russian Collusion" nonsense, but they're stumped by blacks distrust of (and anger over) white America, after, like, 150 years of their actively gaslighting the entire world on something as simple as the reason for our Civil War (I've traveled the world, and such lies have negative repercussions, especially, I think, for American blacks abroad). Whites only did that - collectively - because, they know, blacks couldn't do anything about it - even when they (and everyone else) knew what the truth is. Imagine living with someone who thought holding that kind of power over you is their entitlement - it's shameful - but THAT'S life in America, 2021, whites are still in denial of - and swear to GOD it's a crime to admit. Glenn Reynolds will make South Africa admit apartheid - but he is hyping his white readership to admit nothing about the realities of our own nation's life on it's black citizens. Let whites stay like AOC, and narcissistically cry over themselves, when they're not forced to the lowest rung of the U.S. ladder, always in trouble, when, and even before, trouble arrives.

Is it not time for whites to admit we were raised on lies - and forced to repeat them - and then wonder what else we've - ALL - been lied to about? Or is it better to just keep looking like "evil, repugnant, worthless trash" who make others suffer for centuries, because, collectively or individually (Karen) they can't face truths?

For the record: I say, as a conservative, forcing me to lie, for almost my whole life, about my and my nation's history? That's a BAD thing - and, worthy of reparations. NOT placing flowers at your feet. In case any white person's confused.

And I don't have to be warped into a "woke" racist for saying it.

Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing, Baby - Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing (So I'm Becoming The Real Thing)

He's never looked the same.

Last year, when assessing why he lost the 2012 presidential election, Mitt Romney’s big head said “the biggest mistake I made was not focusing very early on minority voters."

I had rarely been clearer.

Of course, 2012 was the year I, a black Republican, stopped voting out of disgust with the stupidity of my party.

It was time to get real.

If you think I’m joking, it was but one year later that Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal gave me a thrill by admitting the GOP had to "stop being the stupid party" – all that was left was to wait for it to happen.

But you can't get through.

It never did.

The GOPs a bunch of creeps - creeping us out.

Because it can’t.

You can decide who's-who.

The peeling off of Erik Erickson and the Young Republicans' leader in the face of a Trump nomination is all the evidence I need of that.

I've always understood what's-what..

(Notice, they never took this principled stand over the Right’s nausea-inducing position on race over the years, if you want to understand the problems that have always been present,…)

They thought they could survive without me.

Time to die.

Leaving me a choice between Trump University and Eleanore Roosevelt's U.F.O. crew.

BTW – Studies show Fitbit is a scam. Of course, it was reviewed positively by Instapundit, who I also told you was incapable of spotting such things.

As I slowly walk away from the voting booth - again,….
