Have Bam's Believers Lost Faith?

Here's a bit of anecdotal information I found very interesting:

For months, one of my friends in San Francisco has been betting Obama supporters $100.00 that "The One" will lose on November 4th, and so far he's only got (are you ready for it?) one - 1 - taker. That's it! For an election that, even at this late date, is being spun as inevitable!

There definitely doesn't sound like there's a lot of confidence out there - even in San Francisco, the very heart of Obama country, where everyone believes we McCain supporters are clinging to our guns and religion. Maybe the idea that America is a center-right nation (that can't tolerate a far-left Liberal) is sinking in after all. Maybe not.

I do know the polls are skewed - and we certainly can't trust the media's take on almost anything anymore - so this just may turn out to be a "silent majority" victory after all:
