"Falling prey to a quack and losing lives has become prevalent in the urban and rural pockets of the city these days. Interestingly, the health department launched a campaign to curb the menace of quackery in the past few months. But due to the absence of will and determination of the enforcement machinery, coupled with the influence wielded by unqualified and unregistered practitioners, the drive simply went up in smoke and the quacks are back into business."
