Make The Right Do Right Because Right Is Right

It looks like TMR is catching on again, like it did before and during the election - as a matter of fact, this particular bit of blogging history is being passed around like crazy, even in non-english-speaking places like France, though I have no idea why. Music donations are coming in again (thank you, everybody - but especially to the Christians). Yea, I'm discovering I've got friends in some supposedly-unusual, but very-welcome places, for an atheist, and all I can imagine is happening is an acceptance of why I still do the damn thing:

Not everyone wants a fucking lecture to understand what's going on, and - as far as the donations to jump-start my music career go - they want to see an *effective* cultural component added to the new conservatism.

Accept it, people, rational thinking ain't going nowhere with shit like this:

And I looove the question that accompanied that video - "What's harder; Science or Rapping?" Obviously it's rapping because, let's face it, those scientists can't swing.

Jonah Goldberg, as usual, seems to understand what's going on better than most:
"A conservative populism is sweeping the land, and although I think it is for the most part justified and beneficial, you cannot expect millions of people to get very angry — deservedly angry — and expect everyone to behave as if it's an Oxford seminar."
Exactly. Especially if you're claiming you want to attract more blacks and hispanics, or what is now being called "the country class". Conservatism has got to loosen up, make a little room for the new breed, and - most importantly - support it, and know when to get out of the way:

We're all a part of this now.
