“I saw a Kripalu magazine, and on the cover I saw a stack of rocks. And I thought, ‘Hey, I need to propose a class for this.’ ”
Lila Higgins, a California environmental artist, from an article about the crass marketing of NewAge beliefs (by women) at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health - "a New Age encyclopedia come to life," filled with "self-proclaimed visionaries and healers" (the only kind) that was started from a guru who suffered a fall from grace in (of course) "a sex scandal" - as reported in the New York Times (which ought to be embarrassed for, once again, covering NewAge nonsense without critical comment.)
