Conservatism's A Slave (Whipped With A Dana Loesch)

I may love the Evil Blogger Lady (both of 'em) and EBL may love Dana Loesch, but I do not love Dana Loesch. She and Hot Air's Mary Katherine Ham are what I think is wrong with the Right right now.

Loesch is one of those white affirmative-action conservatives, popular only for her looks and political orientation, not for ever uttering an original thought or attaining actual political accomplishments. 

Listen to her answer, above, when The View asked her why she went from liberal to conservative. She became a mother. Great, that makes total sense. So what about being a mother caused you to switch?

"Blah, blah, blah, Big Government". 

 Really?

As a conservative, I just put my head in my hands, because I know that we can do better.

What happened to something like "I switched because I realized that was MY child - not the village's - and it was up to responsible adults, to create a really good village, for all children to live freely in"?

It may not be the best answer, but it's off the top of my head like her's was, and probably would've gotten an applause line if directed at Whoopie or Wah-Wah right.

Instead, we get conservative boilerplate - in a context that makes no sense to blacks - and which anyone can see through.

The cow thought it was masterful and said "This is going to make some heads explode... (and that is a good thing)"

That seems to be the white M.O. when dealing with black critics:

Don't change anything - invite 'em in on the "action".

Obviously, if that doesn't work, freeze 'em out.

Whites can, look at me - no Instapundit, no Althouse, no EBL, No Trooper, no nothin' - the conservative white folks got they minds made up.

The point, as in the racist past, is not to change.

Not to treat black criticism as valid.

Evidence be damned - our lost opportunities are in our minds, and calling the people this nation betrayed delusional isn't racist, because WHITE.

But American blacks live with American racism:

We know American whites think, as long as enough distance can be made - between the slave ships cutting the water and those of us in their wake - no matter what they say, or how they act, it'll eventually all smooth over, into a placid lake.

There's only one problem:

Freedom means everybody can now see and say who was piloting the fucking boat - and determine for ourselves what it really means - and can do so without your racist input.

See, trying to shut me up is one thing, but trying to deny 400 years of slavery a full hearing?

Hot Air wants you to forget about American lives and focus on the fact a Connecticut man saved a bald eagle.

Makes total sense. Why would Republicans - the folks who love to crow they stopped slavery - want white conservatives to focus on the fact analysts say "in 2013 Black America suffered as White anger and Black fratricide struck"?

Nobody needs to hear that. Talk about gay marriage or something. I hear that subject's just like slavery, Jim Crow, overt racial discrimination, and a history of oppression - see Liberace.

When Another Magazine Commits Blackface they are nowhere to be found, have nothing to say.

Except when they all proceed to reassure one another it's O.K. not to give a damn about blacks - the very essence of racism.

Um, Troop, you're right, I didn't mess with The Knockout Game. But not because it's too hot a topic for TMR readers or I to handle, but because: 

A) Being over 10 years old even to the mainstream press (The Knockout Game's much older in the black population - a fact no one's upset about going unreported) as "news" The Knockout Game's shock value is pretty low in my neck of the woods. 

B) I'm more-than-aware of Drudge's desperate search for racial dog whistles.

And C) Dancing to Drudge's tune - or watching others do so - is boring.

If you wish to pretend my actions are really because I'm a hypocrite who "can't handle the truth," so be it.

By now, I know, arguing with you is pointless,....

I'm sure white's overwhelming numbers, all yahoo! fired up and loaded for bear, will have no effect on the mere 13% of blacks out there.

BTW - You can't find a single word or thought on this blog, by me or anyone else, advocating this crap. I wouldn't allow it. But, in so-called "conservative" circles, it's totally acceptable.

Because there's so few blacks there.

 It's clear they think they're so wonderful they never have to question what they're doing and saying.

Blacks are their focus and (ahem) target.

I know, as a conservative, they expect me to hang out with them - but why would I when they harbor open racists looking to kill blacks?
