Conclusion: Kucinich Is A Crappy Congressman
When the weird get going, the going gets weird:Rep. Dennis Kucinich has sued a U.S. House of Representatives cafeteria for selling him a sandwich wrap that caused dental damage when he bit into an olive pit, according to a Jan. 3 lawsuit filed in Superior Court for the District of Columbia. And let's not forget this dingbat claims he saw a U.F.O. while staying at Shirley MacLaine's house.
The Cleveland Democratic congressman's lawsuit seeks $150,000 in damages from companies that operate the Longworth House Office Building's cafeteria.
It says he bought the suspicious sandwich wrap "on or about April 17, 2008," and eating it caused "permanent dental and oral injuries requiring multiple surgical and dental procedures."
"Said sandwich wrap was unwholesome and unfit for human consumption in that it was presented to contain pitted olives, yet unknown to plaintiff, contained an unpitted olive or olives which plaintiff did not reasonably expect to be in the food prepared for him, and could not visually detect prior to consumption," the lawsuit said.
Kucinich's congressional office confirmed he filed the lawsuit. The document says the congressman believes he's entitled to damages for future dental and medical expenses and to compensate him for pain, suffering, and loss of enjoyment.
Hell, he should be suing himself, because the man IS the pits.

We Will Never Be Known (As "Mellow Yellow")
Those who read this blog often probably know what they're getting, and what we're getting at, but the rest might not have a clue - especially when it comes to the photography.
For instance, most people know what veganism is, and probably have nothing against it. But then, if they read this blog regularly, they also know we steer clear. A newcomer might ask "why?"We will attempt to explain:
Here's an article we found called "The Rise of the Power Vegans", which features many of the names TMR readers have come to associate with NewAge nonsense (Buddha boy Russell Simmons, Ken Wilber cult devotee Bill Clinton, and UFO nut Dennis Kucinich) mixed in with some new names to the meatless high-and-mighty.
Close behind those usual suspects are the others, the NewAge women, mostly represented by the crazier crew of The Secret (Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres) before the author finally drops the quote that hits TMR's sweet spot:Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial artist and vegan Luke Cummo says that he drinks his own urine.Bingo, baby! Do you get it now? How do you go from casually discussing keeping meat out of your mouth to putting your own pee in it? Consider for a second, that that astounding remark goes completely unremarked upon in the article, and you might start to reach the frequency we're on.
Also consider it was Congressman Kucinich who claimed to have seen a UFO on Shirley MacLaine's balcony - and Shirley MacLaine, bless her heart, is also known to drink her own urine - so, if you're normal, you can begin to see something ain't right within this very-closed (and close-knit) circle of foolish famous folks.
Or did you always think America's leaders were a bunch of weirdos who have given up food for drinking their own pee (or hanging out with people who do)?Well, if not, now you know. Because that's what we do.
And the photography?
What's wrong with our taste in photography?

I Want My Old Life Back (And I'm Going To Get It)
Somebody just sent me this MADTV video to cheer me up, and it worked, reminding me of the life I enjoyed before all this NewAge nonsense entered my world. Whoever you are, Anonymous, "thanks".
Man, it's been a bum four years. From the first night I walked into my bedroom and asked, ""Honey, are you in a cult?", and my wife didn't say, "What the hell are you talking about?", it's just been one long social disaster. Like, right now, I can't see how Barack Obama can look at a girl's ass and it garners massive interest, and millions of comments world-wide, but a black American can say, "My ex-wife was taken advantage of, sexually, by a homeopath and, together, they have killed three people (the first one being her own mother - and provide proof of all of it - and the two of them are not in prison) but all I get is a smattering of comments, with most of them along the lines of "Get off the internet!" or "You're a pussy!"
The idea there are two killers walking freely, either here or in France, apparently bothers no one. What seems to be of major concern - and must be stopped at all cost - is me being upset enough to blog about it. I just can't see how that works.
Or rather, I can, and it bothers me - a lot.
Years ago, before I knew anything about NewAge, I told a friend of mine my then-wife had come home declaring she could walk through walls. His answer? "Don't worry about, it's harmless." - and, then, he gave me some stupid book about a talking gorilla concerned about the environment.
Years later, after my marriage came apart, I spent a year reading my wife's diaries, listening to cassette tapes she made with various "psychics" and "mediums", and reading every NewAge book she owned - only to discover this madness I was learning about could be found on Oprah and other popular TV programs (including those on PBS) and in our movies; in the mouths of celebrities and politicians - but, now, hardly anyone thought what used to be called "flakey" beliefs were strange at all. Oprah isn't a woman who spreads misinformation and quackery - she's seen as probably "the most moral woman in America". Gavin Newsom, the NewAge mayor of San Francisco (easily one of the cult capitals of the world) sleeps with his campaign manager and best friend's wife, only to sail to a re-election victory with 75% of the vote - because he stood up for gay marriage. (His best friend's marriage was obviously worthless in comparison.)
Homeopathy is sold in every "progressive" store in the world, though it's supposedly nothing but water or sugar pills. People say it, too, is "harmless" though 900 people just lost their sense of smell from using it, a couple of parents just got convicted of manslaughter for killing their kid with it, and I've documented countless deaths and other mishaps from this dangerous belief and the cult that supports it. But there's nary a peep from the news media asking why or how we've slipped the bounds of reason enough that this is so.
All I see is The New York Times, and countless other newspapers, supporting these ideas. I see TIME Magazine supporting these ideas. I see what seems like almost everyone supporting every solipsistic belief they can get their hands on, and the flakier the spokesman the better. Andrew Weil believes in Uri Geller's spoon-bending abilities? Well let's get our medical advice from him! Deepak Chopra was a follower of the Maharishi and, together, they tried to run a scam on the Journal of the American Medical Association? Why, let's get medical (and political) advice from him, too! Being a lying quack is, clearly, the perfect credential for credibility in the mediasphere these days.
And in politics: Dennis Kucinich saw a U.F.O. while standing on Shirley McLaine's balcony - he must know what's going on! Tom Harmon thinks bee pollen cured his asthma - and disses any scientist who suggests otherwise - let's put him in charge of healthcare! Barack Obama's main qualification for the presidency was that he had no qualifications for the presidency!!! Yes, yes, it's all making sense to me now!
At the end of Alice In Wonderland, the poor terrified girl is being chased by the Red Queen's army when, all of a sudden, she gets angry and - grasping reality -she spins on the soldiers, shouting, "I'm not afraid of you! You just a silly deck of cards!!" and - poof! - just like that, that's exactly what they returned to being.
That, my friends, is The Macho Response. And whether anyone likes it, understands it, or hates it, I'm going to keep that attitude until either this nonsense is destroyed or I am. I've told you: I am the new Black Lightning, working on a broken computer - and with a broken heart. And, as much as I hate the words, for now on, as I work to expose and eliminate NewAge from the public sphere, I am going to give the millions of apologists for the "spiritual" underpinnings of liberalism the very same reply they've given me as they've rejected cultism and reason as the obvious answers to the belief problems - including "Hope and Change" - that they've created for us all:
"I don't care."

Fuck Yea: Bring It On, Tough Guy!
“Let’s do this already. Let’s get the Impeachment going. Let’s see those cases for war crimes. Instead of implying all manner of Bushian evil by whispering the words, let’s see it all. Make your cases. Bring the evidence. Get the testimony, under oath. You may or may not destroy the enemy you’ve so loved to hate these last 5 years (and how funny that your “enemy” is not the group pledged to kill you , but the guy trying to save your silly asses) but likely you will destroy yourselves in the process. You may destroy the country, too, but if that’s what it takes to get the truth out there, so be it."
-- The Anchoress - showing exactly the kind of grit I want to see - regarding (that moonbat) Dennis "I saw a U.F.O. at Shirley McClain's house" Kucinich's attempt to impeach President Bush
Everybody should read her post - and her blog - because the lady's hot and on a roll!
And do you see what I've been getting at? NewAgers (and as a believer in U.F.O.'s - and with his Shirley McClain hook-up - Kucinich more-than-qualifies) cannot stop themselves from over-stepping. They're determined to keep taking things as far as they can go until they finally expose themselves for the occult nutcases they are.
What's important, for the rest of us, is to get to the bottom of it - bring it all out: what's Shirley McClain actually up to with her scam? Why's Montel been working with that disgusting scammer, Sylvia Browne? (He's got to know better.) Why is Oprah forcing-feeding NewAge crap to the country? Why are all these people connected? America needs to know.I'm with The Anchoress: let them have their day. Let's do this. And, then, turn the spotlight on them. Stop playing with these people. That'll get to the bottom of it. As The Anchoress says - and I have said - "you will destroy yourselves." And the sooner we get it over with, the better.

Politicians Using Cultism: Weak On Words
"Sen. Hillary Clinton, who wants to run as the "change" candidate—because, well, because you can't so easily run as a status quo candidate—also wants to run as a stability-and-experience candidate. Hence the repeated alterations (or "changes") in her half-baked slogans. By the time the plagiarism row had been started by her very ill-advised advisers, she had run through: "Big Challenges, Real Solutions"; "Working for Change, Working for You"; "Ready for Change, Ready To Lead"; and "Solutions for America." Sen. Obama, meanwhile, had picked the slightly less banal and more cryptic mantra "Change We Can Believe In," which I call cryptic only because at least it makes one ask what it can conceivably be intended to mean.It is cliché, not plagiarism, that is the problem with our stilted, room-temperature political discourse. It used to be that thinking people would say, with at least a shred of pride, that their own convictions would not shrink to fit on a label or on a bumper sticker. But now it seems that the more vapid and vacuous the logo, the more charm (or should that be "charisma"?) it exerts. Take "Yes We Can," for example. It's the sort of thing parents might chant encouragingly to a child slow on the potty-training uptake. As for "We Are the People We Have Been Waiting For" (in which case, one can only suppose that now that we have arrived, we can all go home), I didn't think much of it when Rep. Dennis Kucinich used it at an anti-war rally in 2004 ("We Are the People We Are Waiting For" being his version) or when Thomas Friedman came across it at an MIT student event last December. He wrote, by the way, that just hearing it gave him—well, you guess what it gave him. Hope? That's exactly right."

I See Dead People
"Mrs. Clinton is the tea bag that brings the boiling water with her. It's always high drama with her, always a cauldron--secret Web sites put up by unnamed operatives smearing Barack Obama in the tones of Tokyo Rose, Chinese businessmen having breakdowns on trains after the campaign cash is traced back, secret deals. It's always flying monkeys. One always wants to ask: Why? What is this?"- Peggy Noonan, the very-perceptive columnist for the Wall Street Journal
"Flying monkeys". Nice choice of words for the Clinton many consider The Wicked Witch of the West, no?
As far as I know, comparatively few Republican candidates have been found to be part of the New Age - except for, maybe, unknowingly taking cult money. Any quick look around the blog will show I've had reason to talk, almost exclusively, about Democrats in the pocket of one group of cultists or another. Not because I hate Dems but (surprise!) that's who is, almost exclusively, into cults and cultish thinking. Maybe Republicans are just too tied to the concept of "individual freedom" to let any kind of guru lead them around by the nose for too long?
Really: So much of the in-house anti-America rhetoric is coming from cult sources, it's truly amazing - makes one wonder what else they're lying about, doesn't it? It does for me because, seriously, I can't seem to find any escape from it.
These days, in what Frank Furedi calls The Age of Unreason, I see tons of opinions being treated as facts by the Left, and just as many facts being disregarded as opinions merely because they come from the Right. Seriously, forget about the war for a moment, and ask yourself how much you really know about some other things the Left is pushing on us - things that you can actually nail down - that you can check for yourself? How much of it is true, and right, and really "good"?
Now, if the Left can be that far-off about good ol' recycling, as they're going out of their way to accomplish it (and fascistically demanding others follow suit) how right, or wrong, might they be about what's going on half-way around the world with our boys lives and, possibly, the fate of our nation on the line?
Admit it: Any of these serial protesters can be that exact same distance from the truth and never know it. And, all the while, screaming their heads off that the president of the United States is actually leading a nation of murderers, when it's they who may be destroying the best chance for peace and prosperity someone else may ever have, leaving only dead bodies in their wake.
I swear, once this shit is cleared up - and it will be - this blog is gonna be worth big bucks one day,...
