Kirk was not some innocent victim of random violence. He was an architect of the very toxicity that ultimately consumed him. For years, he built his brand on catastrophising every cultural disagreement into civilizational conflict: Professors weren't just liberal, they were Marxist indoctrinators. Diversity programs weren't just misguided, they were anti-white racism. Every campus protest was the beginning of a communist revolution. He didn't engage in debate. He declared war and now his allies want to pretend he was a peacetime casualty.

The hagiographies now being written conveniently omit Kirk's greatest hits. His 'Professor Watch List' that targeted academics for harassment. His deliberate misrepresentation of campus events to fuel outrage. His transformation of confused 18-year-olds into culture warriors convinced they were under existential threat. He weaponized victimhood while claiming to oppose victim culture. Creating safe spaces for conservatives while mocking the very concept. Demanding free speech for himself while attempting to silence others.

What's particularly galling is watching the same figures who enabled and amplified Kirk's divisiveness, now positioning themselves as voices of reason, calling for unity. These are the people who cheered when he turned 'owning the libs' into a business model."

It wasn't until 2014 that "The Secret Casualties of Iraq’s Abandoned Chemical Weapons" by C.J. Chivers was published in the NYT, featuring Army sergeant Jarrod L. Taylor saying, “I love it when I hear, ‘Oh there weren’t any chemical weapons in Iraq.’ There were plenty.” Saddam's deceit continues to confuse the world. In hindsight, Galloway appears to be wrong, here, about Hitchens in Dundee, he misrepresented Hitchens' position on Palestine, and Galloway WAS playing, cynically, with the story of Cindy and Casey Sheehan. Oh, and anyone who would tour with Janet Fonda in 2005 (when she was on tour saying "[Cosmic energy fields are] not just NewAge hogwash. It is actually how reality works," is not only suspect, but probably uber-grateful Hitchens is dead today.

TMR has been searching all day for Israel's "right to exist" as a Jewish homeland and just can't find one. Heard the tale, over and over again, and it keeps coming out the same way: 

The Israelis are being assholes.

Romans chased the Jews from Israel 3,000 years ago - not the Palestinians - Romans.

They stayed gone until after WWII. Then British colonialists decided the Jews could move back - not the Palestinians or the Arabs who've lived there for the previous 3000 years - British colonialists.

So the Jews moved back and started kicking Palestinians out - at the point of a gun. In other words, the Israelis started doing everything to the Palestinians that the Jews had happen to them elsewhere. But - just like the Jews - the Palestinians hadn't done anything to deserve the abuse. They just lost their homes, lands, and lives, because racists in Yurp made problems. 

But the Israelis don't care - when they ought to be ashamed of themselves - because there's no "right to exist" as a Jewish homeland in that story. The Jews lost that land - and the British had no right to give it back - so, understandably, the Palestinians are upset, because people are always very possessive of their land. It's beyond unfair, and reeks of a historically fucked-up situation. As Christopher Hitchens said, the Palestinians clearly have more right to be there than some Jew who just arrived from Brooklyn. Face it:

Matt Taibbi and Racket News have reported the origin of Hillary's RussiaGate hoax - surprise: it was Hillary. She is who betrayed the President (by calling him "illegitimate" and a traitor), deceived the nation, confused our allies, and tricked the world - including Russia - causing pure chaos. Because the Press will, apparently, print anything she says.

Of course, that she was behind all this was first reported in 2017, by Jonathan Alter and Amy Parnes, who were actually in the room as the whole thing began:

Already, Russian hacking was the centerpiece of the argument.”

   

 That most reporters never really acted like it - since 2016 - is a nice reminder of the "eerie" hold on the Press that Christopher Hitchens mentioned to Charlie Rose, all the way back in 1999.

Just like our reporters also, somehow, conveniently "forgot" Bill Clinton is a multiple rapist.

 In the mid 2000s, Bill Clinton, let it slip at Davos that his cult leader, Ken Wilber, and his sinister Theory of Everything guides what they're doing to us, though Wilber operates with Marc Gafni - another rapist - associated with the scam occurring at Whole Foods.

Has anything changed since then? Absolutely nothing. Has the left decided to curb their enthusiasm for any of this? Not at all. If anything, the Democrats have burrowed deeper into the Clinton's pathological belief systems and behaviors (the NewAge Movement's cults are unending and the media - doing as they're told - doesn't care a bit). Two mature takes, on President Obama's 2009 Nobel Peace Prize nomination, we did NOT hear regularly in the news: 1) it was like giving an Academy Award to a Director in the hopes he'll make a great film one day (which he never did) and 2) Obama became Jimmy Carter faster than Jimmy Carter became Jimmy Carter. The newspapers said just the opposite.

   

Here's Hitchens in 2009, noticing Obama and Hillary Clinton's "unbelievably patronizing attitude toward the Heartland" - one of the very things that led to President Donald Trump's win in 2016 - which is a long time for Obama to have been an asshole,...without him, his supporters, or the media, noticing.

   

They didn't notice Hillary's first, real political act was to actively humiliate a black guy. So, they also did NOT notice, it wouldn't be the last time the Clintons decided ambushing a black person could earn them a ticket on the road to riches. 

   

American newspapers don't print anything, the way it is, anymore.

   

 Before it was fashionable to call people "cult members", Hitch was already saying the Clintons knew how to create them, but the media, generally, hasn't ever been reporting that.

Especially not this cult member.

The Theranos Effect

Vanity Fair thinks "Saturday Night Live Has a Jim Carrey Problem" when Vanity Fair, Saturday Night Live AND Jim Carrey ALL have Jim Carrey's problem: The NewAge Movement. 

After all, Vanity Fair is the former home of the late, great Christopher Hitchens, investigative journalist extraordinaire, who surely would've winced when SNL announced Carrey's hiring, remembering there's a pandemic going on, and Carrey was, and is, an early NewAge leader of The Anti-Vaccine Movement. I don't think, Hitch would've thought, in this, any further magical thinking was called for. 

Did Saturday Night Live (along with Vanity Fair?) somehow miss Carrey's past, or did they just never ask him about how he and Jenny McCarthy were once nonsensically encouraging an entire worldwide movement? And, if so, how? Or does the media, now, just not care who's been misinforming everyone, from the President of the United States to the rest of the world (and/or the rest of us) on knowing how we got here? 

Carrey joined the NewAge in 2007, with his career (and increasingly gargoylish appearance) taking a Dumb & Dumber 2-type U-turn with it, so, how seeing this washed-up, unhinged, anti-science, religious fanatic is supposed to cheer us up every weekend, also could've been demanded to be known by Hitch's old comrades, but isn't. So why even have a media? To sell us scary headlines about how The Anti-Vaccine Movement is hooking-up with the QAnon cult, but NOT to tell us the show everyone's watching - for  Joe Biden being played in aviator glasses - has anything to do with all that?

Or anything to do with anything. With Vanity Fair and the rest of this media, you'd barely know Carrey's part of a "Celebrity Anti-Vaccination Squad" with fellow Democrats, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and fellow SNL co-star Robert De Niro (pictured in 2016). You'd think that whole anti-vaxx thing was just in his past, or maybe it was just him and his old flame, Jenny.

Because, if you believe that, then Kennedy's stirring up QAnon-related anti-government trouble in Germany last month over vaccines (as he's done, here, many times before) stays unconnected to Carrey, or De Niro.

Except for the occasional photo of Kennedy with Alec Baldwin, Carrey and De Niro's co-star as SNL's "Donald Trump".

And then, look at the coverage of De Niro. It's all about his new movie, "War With Grandpa", and his comedy chops, AND his anti-Trump rage - another trait he shares with Carrey - even though Trump was once anti-vaccine, so it was their own movement that partially created what many dislike about The Donald today. 

My point is, even with all this international mayhem they're causing, what all this media coverage does NOT mention is Jim Carrey's connection to Robert De Niro, or Robert F. Kennedy, or Jenny McCarthy.

Or even Andrew Wakefield (above, who started all the trouble) Elle MacPherson (the stupid supermodel who has since become his girlfriend) Oprah Winfrey (the so-called "journalist" who promoted it, all, almost as soon as vaccine paranoia became a thing) or Gwyneth Paltrow (the actress-turned-con artist, who, of course, joined-in to cultivate "Fuck You"). 

This new type of media oversight - or the lack of it - is what I call The Theranos Effect (TTE). That's when lots of educated people can stare right at an *obvious* world of frauds, and still see genius.

You see, America was fed the Watergate lie about journalism: crusading reporters - covering the world like ants - to uncover important stories that protect and inform the people. 

But, the truth is TTE - or what we saw happen at Theranos: a billion idiots walk into a place, drink the Kool-Aid of someone like Elizabeth Holmes, and - like Bill Clinton - swear to GOD "the future's in good hands." 

We're in his predicted future, now - how are you feeling about it? How are you feeling about them? They sat by, and said nothing, as Oprah made "The Secret" a best-seller - and even called it "science" on The Larry King Show - was a killer pandemic what you hoped to get out of that?

Only one journalist, out of hundreds or even thousands, saw through Theranos. He works for The Wall Street Journal and his name is John Carreyrou. He's got all of my respect.

I knew about NXIVM for 12 YEARS before the major media caught on. Hillary Clinton and the Dalai Lama were involved. That's why, I'm here to tell you, for every story you read, there's a real one - DYING to get out - but the rest of us are lucky if even one or two reporters ever get close to it.

And - honestly - I know of only one other guy out there saying it. And Christopher Hitchens wouldn't have liked who it is.
