Family Guy Killed Off Brian (And The Best Race Jokes)
Being a dog, Brian was safe for showing weirdness others tolerate as white's "normal" uptight behavior.
If he wasn't rubbing color in our faces to make one kind of point, he was pulling a Shouting Thomas and over-compensating to make another - both indicating how uncomfortable he was with himself.
He made sure everybody knew he was politically correct.
But the truth was - with all his betrayals of himself and others - he's what most fondly call "being human" in the NewAge.
I hope they bring him back....

NewAge Self-Help Goes Straight To The Dogs
This is O.K., but putting any kind of intelligence, regarding NewAge beliefs, in the mouth of a John-Roger cultist like Arianna Huffington is weird and a lie. (She is the name behind the notorious NewAge quack site, "The Huffington Post.") Still, we already knew Family Guy is a Leftist propaganda vehicle, so we'll take it without too much fuss:
Leftists - lying is in their blood.
Expecting us not to notice is, too. It's kinda sad, really. What do they think, we're stupid? Oh, no, wait - we get it now - they think YOU are.

Oh, That Sweet, Sweet Smell Of Political Cultism
"And the light shone.
And the people bowed down before the light.
And the light ripped a giant fart.
And the people called it ambrosia."
-- ricpic, commenting on the question "You want to know what I'd ask Barack Obama?" on the blog called Althouse.

The Family Guy
"Can a man talk to a kid in the park anymore without being seen as a pervert? . . .This has to stop. Adults should talk to children in public, whether to joke, teach, comfort, or if need be to admonish. Normal adults, that is."-- Mary Jackson, on the insanity of women-centered NewAge beliefs about men - when it's women with NewAge beliefs, centered on men, who are insane - for Pajamas Media.

You Gotta Love Religion (You Just Gotta)
Oh man: the silly beliefs, the funny clothes, the rituals and the waste - and then comes the fighting!
I swear, if more people paid attention to religion as closely as I do, there'd be no need for cable. We'd meet around the water cooler each day, saying, "Did you hear how many people the homeopaths killed today?"
"Oh, that's nothing compared to the brawl inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre!"
"Nothing? Are you kidding me? I'm talking about "peace-loving" NewAgers killing cancer victims and other desperate people over water!"
"I know, I know, it's nutty, but the Holy Sepulchre guys wear the outrageous outfits - and it's in a church - so it's more like professional wrestling."
"Oh yea, I forgot about that. I guess you've got a point."
Sigh. That's the it's 'sposed to be. Instead, people are asking me about fucking Family Guy.

Girls Today: Peaches And Cream (And Smaaaart)
"I'm looking forward to the civil suit," soccer player [April] Grolle told me, after she recounted seeing Jane Doe stripped from the waist down, with "vomit all over her face - turns out it wasn't her own vomit."
Said Grolle, "No girl would ever have consented to that."
-- Debra J. Saunders, writing about the (disputed) "De Anza rape case" in her column for the San Francisco Chronicle.
