It's Time We Paid A Visit To The Elephant's Graveyard
Whoa. It's wild, the things racists don't tell you - and how there's just so much "stuff" we can fail to put it together. Like, I never knew these two guys broke the Koch Brothers story. Or that the Koch's father was a co-founder of the crazy John Birch Society.
Getting really interesting, I also didn't know they exposed Glenn Reynolds' girl friend at The Atlantic, Megan McArdle, as having a conflict of interest - being married to a guy who did astroturf campaigns - and who worked for the Tea Party's backers, FreedomWorks. Glenn Reynolds Said We Can Win By Losing (Number II)
Hey, conservative Darth Vader, there seems to be another disturbance in The Force:
Where does that leave the Koch brothers? The billionaire industrialists have funded a sprawling empire of libertarian-conservative activism; they've been dubbed the bankrollers of the Tea Party. Liberals frequently accuse them of seeking deregulatory policies to further their company's financial interests. But what happens when the Tea Party's ideological warfare threatens to plunge the U.S. economy into chaos?
This is your pal, Luke Skywalker, signing out,...
