Matt Drudge Suggests Ta-Nahisi Coates Isn't A Reporter

Screenshot taken just before 6AM.

The man, best known for climbing through our trash to whip up racists, has decided Ta-Nahisi Coates' title should be in quotes.

But - after over two weeks of The Drudge Report NOT mentioning The Case For Reparations - why would Coates (merely saying, "I can't talk about that," when asked whether or not he's met President Obama) be of any interest to Drudge or Tucker Carlson's The Daily Caller? I'll tell you my guess:

Because Coates has made reparations real again - and that makes him a Right-Wing target.

Aren't you glad white America's racism is so yesterday?

Suicidal Tendencies (They're Killing Everything)

Every time I've said the Right's money and attention was focused on the wrong people and outlets - those who are good at schmoozing, and maintaining their useless clique, but don't know how to fight and have been happily wasting time and money - I've been shouted down as a "meanie," and a sexist, and a self-serving prick, because, obviously, no one can fight better than those leading now, right?

To which I say "Fine - it's your funeral."

Instapundit reader Jody Green - March 29th, 2011:
The issues facing this country at the federal level are so large and complex that only honest people have a chance of fixing the problems. We all know that we are not dealing with an honest opposition. We are dealing with people who are only trying to maintain their disgusting grip on the levers of power. See Shumer just today. This country is about to crash in a horrible “Man caused disaster” and we can not get that message to the vast majority of people. Our leadership plays games while we know the Titanic is sinking.
The Daily Caller's Mickey Kaus - March 30th, 2011:
Aren’t there some rich Republicans who can save the momentum of the anti union push with an independent expenditure? …

Where are the Kochs when you need them?
iOwnTheWorld's Big Fur Hat - March 26, 2011:
[If] some deep pocket conservative [could] pull together 90 of the most brilliant conservative creatives, [and] pay them a living wage,...we could BURY the left.

We Want To Hear The Man Bust One Verse Of "O.P.P." Before We Say Another Word,...

This morning Glenn Reynolds announced "The Treach Is Back" - with some rap lyrics - to which we say "not a moment too soon!" (We, too, have been huge Naughty By Nature fans from way back - they're brilliant.) Returning with that same familiar hard-hitting Pop-Hop style, Treach has got a question for everybody:
Speaking of nincompoops and Newsweek, Andrew Sullivan announced he’ll soon be bringing his tireless search for Trig Palin’s afterbirth to the Daily Beast. He’s just asking questions! Here’s a question: Why does anybody read Andrew Sullivan?
To which we also say, "We don't know, dude." Hell, we don't understand how he keeps getting hired! That clown can't even rap!

But we know you Da Man, and can get that inside scoop, so be sure and hit us back if you learn anything:

For sure, nobody's talking to us.

Wait a minute - The Daily Beast? Andrew Sullivan?

What motherfucking Treach is this?

The John Edwards Blackout - From JournoList?

As The Daily Caller continues releasing the JournoList e-mails, I'm waiting to see when they'll look into what was happening during one specific period:

The John Edwards affair with Rielle Hunter, during the last presidential election, when Edwards was considered vice presidential material.

As I remember it, that was a year-long news blackout, that left The National Enquirer, alone, to break the story.

Was it coordinated, as the attacks on Sarah Palin were?

If it was, then we've got some serious implications for journalism, and the country.

There are many who are sure the country was snookered during the last election, and I, having returned from living overseas, was also amazed at the way politics was playing out - without the journalistic watchdog I was used to before I left.

I couldn't understand it.

But now we know what was going on - this was collusion - collusion against the American people by the same journalists we trusted to keep us informed.

So come on, Daily Caller, if you've got the dirt, let's have it now:

The American people need to know the whole truth about what the liberal wing of the Fourth Estate was serving us.
