Ann Althouse's Kid Is As Dumb As She Is If He Thinks I Don't Know When He's Trying To Lie Out Of His Ass

Althouse has a running joke. At least, Ann treats it as a joke:

Whenever someone discovers she's not too bright, or deeply immoral, at some point they scream "And you, a law professor!"

Ann thinks it's funny, or rebellious, destroying any respect we held for her position before we discovered she's the type who holds it.

It seems to be what whites want to do to America as a whole.

I mention this because Ann put a quote about prejudice on her blog today - from her son, John Althouse Cohen - and it's clear the apple hasn't fallen far from the stupid tree: 

  "A lot of people have an impulse to be prejudiced. But at the same time, they're like almost everyone in that they want to avoid being socially unacceptable. So they want to vent sexism and racism somehow — but only in ways that are considered socially acceptable.

And how can one do that? It's obvious: by expressing sexism/racism against men and whites only. If they'd been born long ago, they might have vented against women or blacks instead. That's why when I hear people expressing shamelessly anti-man or anti-white views, it doesn't strike me as a dramatic improvement over the expression of anti-woman or anti-black view....

Notice anything missing from this formulation? Of course, just like the racist whites who gather at Ann's for their daily black-bashing (with no pushback, as she regularly does for "women's issues") John Althouse Cohen gives no indication there's a white history of black oppression what-so-ever. He doesn't see the problem as what whites have been doing wrong for centuries - for no good reason - but that the people whites have been doing it to (the descendents of American slaves) are being just like everyone else in every way. We blacks want, so badly, to join whites in acting despicably. He even starts his riff with a quote from a Scientologist - one of the most oppressive and exploitive groups imaginable.

Why, if blacks were in John Althouse Cohen's shoes, we'd be re-writing history for our own convenience, too! Fuck our educations, fuck our elder's moral guidance, fuck everything - BLACKS JUST WANT TO BE EVIL TO WHITES SO BAD!

So, according to this law professor's son - a law professor's son! - there's been no stolen bodies (so no accumulated pain) no stolen money (so no accumulated poverty) no lies (so no accumulated lack of trust) no mass incarceration (resulting in massive disenfranchisement) no nothin' (and, thus, no reason for black's anger at, even, such an evil thing as what John Althouse Cohen is proposing). Blacks are just looking for trouble, as whites have done, with Ann, and her kid, and everybody else who's white and openly living off the wealth stolen from blacks (and now desperately trying to run out the clock on the crimes) being saints suffering unprovoked attacks. Why, "If they'd been born long ago, they might have vented against women or blacks instead."

Yeah, the history of blacks attacking blacks "long ago" is legendary - Harriet Tubman (a woman last time I checked) led the way.

My GOD, white people's stupidity is equaled only by their attempts to be self-servingly disingenuous,...  

Conservatives Keeping Us In Caves With Rank Racism

A pastor has a message, for all the Wingers out there, still resisting the snapping. Here it is:

  “The central problem with conservatives regarding the issue of race is often that they simply have never stopped responding defensively,...Many conservatives have just continued to deny and deny, often suggesting that those who know from deep experience how personal and universal this issue is are making it up for political or personal reasons,...A person who has genuinely done their work on this issue can spot one who hasn’t in a second,…”

Mormons don't make good historians.

Meaning, you could be getting it backwards, and all the evidence says that's so. For instance, someone who thinks himself quite knowledgable told me this, yesterday:

  "The slave trade was stopped almost singlehandedly by the British Navy. There were no black led fleets or even single ships aiding them."

Fortunately, TMR delivers on the promise of Black History Month:

   The Raid at Combahee Ferry was a military operation during the American Civil War; it was conducted on June 1 and June 2, 1863, by elements of the Union Army along the Combahee River in Beaufort and Colleton counties in southeast South Carolina.

Harriet Tubman, who had escaped from slavery in 1849 and guided many others to freedom, was working for the Union Army and guided its forces in the area. The Union Brigadier General Rufus Saxton credited Tubman as the only woman to plan and lead such a military raid. The Union ships transported more than 750 slaves freed by the raid, and many of the men joined the Union Army.

You read it right.

In 1863 this black woman successfully planned and led American forces in battle.

That makes two of us.

Blacks Ended Slavery - Not Whites (End Of Story)

The truth is, whites HELPED to end slavery, just as they HELPED in the Civil Rights Movement, but the idea that anyone wanted freedom for blacks more, or suffered more to get it, than blacks themselves, is preposterous. Blacks have always freed ourselves, and the importance of destroying slavery wasn't a choice, like it was for whites. No white man had to tell Harriet Tubman what she was doing, and they didn't always know, but "Moses" is one example of blacks destroying slavery.
