I get the impression Lisa Kudrow says racist shit all-the-time but, as she says, she doesn't document it in writing. And isn't it weird how - though whites insist "everybody's a little racist" - we mostly find these cache's of racist emails exclusively in white's inboxes? (Of course, that's partially because whites don't hire blacks, and have rarely allowed us to run or build our own non-racist-based-businesses and institutions, in their totally-non-racist society.) In a normal nation, I imagine (since I've never lived in one not plagued with a 400 year history of white's racism and duplicitousness) I think someone would consider the implications of that.

Like, if character is revealed by how you behave when you think no one's looking - and we're supposed to be judging people "by the content of their character and not the color of their skin" - then white people (as expected) were already a failed race long before MLK said those words or email was invented. Kudrow's advice is to be smarter about white's racism. Find new ways to spin it - because spinning their racism is all whites are about. Copping to it, solving it, and (most importantly) stopping it - those they'll fight to the bitter end - always under the guise of defending their "personal freedom." But hiding their racism? Shit, even Ann Althouse (another "white" white woman) understands the mechanics of that:

"Email couched in pleasantries and euphemisms would waste everyone's time and make you look insufficiently hard-assed. The risk of leakage was far outweighed by the potential to succeed, and those who weigh the risk otherwise don't get to these positions of power in the first place.”

She sounds so familiar with the dynamic. Weakly caucasians, being "hard-assed," while aspiring to "positions of power" - always at other's expense - and competing for it. Can there be a better description of "white supremacy"? Or white America's long-standing (but also long-failing) economic model?

I sincerely don't know why white people bothered, to invent the concept of Hell, when they were always building it on Earth anyway,...

John Althouse Cohen's Mom Ain't The Only Bad Parent

When it comes to white women, the evil seems to originate in the confused parents, with their kids capable of going either way:

I say "confused" because, for instance, when Ann Althouse does a post about "Secrets of the Right Wing Brain," but then wonders why "the photo at the top is a composite of Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Scott Walker," well,...that's a pretty confused lady. 

Actually, "confused" doesn't cover it: she's oblivious.

Little wonder that a message like "America is racist and you are, too" hasn't yet sunk in,...

The Coolest Thing About Chris Rock's Race Comments Is Crazy Whites Can't Hurt Him Like They Will The Poor

Untouchable - unlike almost everybody else, with black skin, stuck with the "not as crazy"

When Chris Rock recently said “White people were crazy. Now they’re not as crazy," all he was saying was something many blacks say every day. But with his money and platform, unlike poor blacks, Rock can't be shunned, punished, fired, or anything else the "not as crazy" will do in 2014, that further reveals them as,...well, crazy. Here's another white behavior he got away with ratting out:

”We treat racism in this country like it’s a style that America went through. Like flared legs and lava lamps. Oh, that crazy thing we did. We were hanging black people. We treat it like a fad instead of a disease that eradicates millions of people."

"These white's kids are going to make GREAT neighbors for blacks!"

Yep. Centuries of murdering black American citizens - and our relatives - with no punishment, for anyone, because the country was into it? No big deal. Blacks should've gotten over that, and should feel perfectly comfortable with whites by now, right? If you said "Yes," I've got news for you: only a crazy person would think so. Which is "not as crazy" as your forefathers, but still pretty nuts.

Is he out of a job for having a "bad attitude" - or sharing Chris Rock's outlook?

But here's the thing: in the real world, "not as crazy" whites can, and do, retaliate when poor blacks dare to speak these truths - and there's no Civil Rights laws protecting those blacks (against whatever evil whites choose to further perpetuate) under those circumstances. The whites choose to destroy black lives and consider themselves "colorblind" racial warriors for doing so - which is waaay more crazy than most poor blacks can handle.

The perpetuation of white's "crazy" perspective is a huge part of American life 

Right now, blacks hardly talk to whites at all, simply because we know what they can do, will do, and have done - from personal experience. Tell a "not as crazy" white "friend" about the writing of Ta-Nehisi Coates and, if they feel bad about it, we also have to watch our backs for the results of their "not as crazy" emotional upheaval: maybe they'll start spreading a rumor the poor black is now a racist, or the "not as crazy" whites will begin changing the terms of a make-or-break deal for the poor black (ensuring the poor "racist" black can't succeed) or any number of other options at their disposal from the perch of white supremacy and privilege. 

Forcing the non-crazy into reasoning with the insane is insane

Considering they outnumber us 6 to 1, and most blacks have several white friends (as compared to the average white's one black associate) that's multiple cases of "not as crazy" blow-back a poor individual  must contend with absorbing, merely for speaking to your fellow well-moneyed citizens honestly.

And what are we to think of the claim "Hoover,...has become almost universally reviled,” when it's his name that sits atop the entrance to the F.B.I. headquarters? Simply another lie, in a string of them, so long, it's almost anti-climactic to discover how wrong it all is. How wrong America is. How practically everything about this place,...is just,...wrong.

The president's a little too comfortable in his skin - for some people

John Althouse Cohen (and his mom) used to be big on comparing the fight for gay marriage to the black Civil Rights Movement, because it suited Cohen's purposes as a gay man. But then, once that battle was won, he abruptly switched to referring to blacks - who call bullshit on white's adoption of "colorblind" racism - racists ourselves. Now he reveals who, in his mind, is "normal" and who is not - and the breakdown is as obvious as I'd expect:

"When I watched Romney, I thought: that's probably what I'd be like if I ran for president. I'd be stilted and awkward and overly calculating. Probably most people I know would be. Most normal people would be uncomfortable as national politicians. Very few people would be as cool and effortless as Obama.”

So, Obama isn't "normal" - he's black - but Cohen and "most people I know" (presumably other "colorblind" whites) are like Romney: "stilted and awkward and overly calculating." (Try putting that on a dating site,...)

Anything but "normal" - as blacks understand the term - you know: graceful, comfortable with ourselves as people, and so honest we try not to pull anything over on others. My take on this reading?

This clip is fascinating to me, because Coates says he walked the same direction I did: trying to be the bigger man, he gave conservative thought a chance - only to discover it was hollow and cruel. And, as the self-proclaimed (and self-selected) defenders of a stereotypical American patriotism (Mom, apple pie, baseball, etc.) it's that exploration, of Republicans and their ideals, which revealed white's ignorance, and the racism embedded in America's core.
