Ever since the white conservatives laughter at Trayvon Martin's parents, the defiant attitude of Obama and his supporters has been made clearer and clearer, while the racial corruption of the Republicans (and their ilk) has been beyond a major disappointment. It's like scraping old paint off something that's (supposedly new) only revealed to have worthless, destructive, rust underneath.

I've pissed off a lot of people but I don't care: they're pissed because I took their ideology seriously and found it, and them, both wanting - and because (shamefully) I was right to do so. If they're not full-blown racists, they hang with racists, or vote with racists, or side with racists, or defend them. Anything but siding with black folks, who they duck behind the word "Democrat" to slander, like a black man wouldn't notice the deception: they "don't see color," so feel they can criticize and/or hurt blacks (myself included) at will - so long as they can say they're fighting the other party. None of America's racist historical context allowed. Except when they sneeringly call it a "plantation," like their hands are clean. My ass.

We've got your number now - just as I always said we would - and events are over-taking you all: racist and not-so-racist whites alike. It's time to change your tune or prepare for your inevitable defeat, the charade is now over - and history will not be stopped:

Bozell is correct in the respect that Republicans continually make promises to their base that they know they will never be able to deliver on. Republicans knew full well in 2010 that if they even if they took control of the House, they couldn’t stop the ACA. Reality didn’t stop them from lying and promising to repeal Obamacare if they had control of the House. Republicans have done nothing, but only a true sucker would expect success when Democrats control the both the Senate and the presidency.

Not exactly the world's biggest Rachel Maddow fan. But right now I'm listening to everybody, trying to gauge where we are, and the Left seems to be seeing what I do - madness has gripped the Right and they don't recognize it. Conservatives seem pretty proud to be rubbing shoulders with racial resentments, and religious fruitcakes, while losing one battle after another, each to be worn like a badge of honor. 

Just a big ol' pile of nothin'.

You know, this blog used to catch shit for it's name - specifically the word "macho" - because, at the time, any guy willing to stick his chest out and say "no more" to the NewAge feminist bullshit was seen, not as forward thinking, but pretty pig-headed. But I stuck with it anyway, since I grew up around some of the baddest motherfuckers the Earth has ever seen, and Pastel World's caricature of their lives couldn't put a dent in my mine.

I bring it up because this fake "macho" posturing, among folks who couldn't burst a grape in a fruit fight, can be pretty damaging. You know what I mean - the guys who got picked on in school, trying to get revenge as adults, etc.. They're just assholes who need their asses kicked - again - but, of course, they're all armed to the teeth now (OMG - black teens!) so, for the most part, we're stuck watching them destroy themselves. And destroy themselves they will. Because they never knew how to fight in the first place. It's all talk, just as before.

I've got all kinds of battles in my background. I can still remember getting knocked down - in elementary school - and desperately trying to protect my head as a gang kicked me in every place possible. I fought 5 guys one time, totally stick-and-move, until someone came up behind me with a paint roller (like you'd use to cover walls) and planted it firmly in the back of my neck. There was a 300 lb. white guy in the Navy, after I was already injured, who used his girth to corner me before beating me into submission. And the Mexican who beat me silly, boxing, demonstrating the difference between "the sweet science" and street fighting.

But you know what never happened? No one ever lost respect for me for losing. The leader of that elementary school gang? Somehow, he and I ended up serving together for a while in the Navy, and to my surprise he'd threaten anyone who so much as looked at me cross-eyed, like he was repaying a debt. Those 5 guys (with the paint roller) unfortunately they're all dead now, but they became my good friends, too. The 300 lb. white guy, once he realized I was fighting him injured, actually picked me up and carried me to medical care. And that Mexican boxer eventually taught me everything I was doing wrong, happily, because - like all the others - he saw that what I lacked in skills, I made up with heart.

Nothing like that just happened with Ted Cruz & Co.. Instead of actually fighting, Cruz pushed Boehner towards Obama to say "Knock this chip off my shoulder," and when the president did, they cried he wouldn't let them win. Big whoop. Big Man. Just pathetic. The only one we can look up to is Boehner because he's always been the only one with anything on the line. The rest are just instigators, scattering now to brag about how they put Obama on the spot, when no such thing happened. They just lost, and the Republican Party paid the price for it.

Doesn't matter what Cruz says - or what he thinks of himself:

I Got Too Much Milk In My Tea So I'm Throwing It Away

Conor Friedersdorf - the man with the last name that would've kept me up at night as a kid, wondering if somebody was fucking with me - was another who famously couldn't stomach Mitt Romney enough to vote for him, and now sees the "phony affect" of Ted Cruz. 

That makes us The Rational Two again, Tea Party Giant Killers.

Mind you, we're a dynamic duo who don't kill actual Tea Party giants.

A couple of pin-pricks before the fun begins and whadda ya got? 

Not exactly a fun-filled Election Day with the family, that's for sure.

But that's alright because, let's face it - unless he's being shot out of a cannon - who wants to hang out with a "family" excited by Ted Cruz flying overhead? 

Their entire race-obsessed hispanic focus has been the stuff of nightmares.

Conor's been mentioning the solipsism, and racism, inherent in the "win by losing" strategy, as it's performed by that comedy duo, Rush & Reynolds. 

I would've preferred they "blacken up" before beginning the minstrel show but, looking at the audience in their robes and hoods, I can see why that wasn't gonna fly. 

Their crowd's so anti-black, even make-up ain't politically incorrect enough. 

Conor and I can't really be bothered with 'em no more, only posing for family photos if there's an opportunity to stand faaaar to the side, and then get out of there right after the flash finishes fucking with our eyes. 

Rush, at least, admits he understands why:

We got one factor here that nobody knows how to deal with, and that's race, the race of the president. That's what's got everybody stymied and shut down on our side.  That's what's got 'em palpably afraid to say or do anything. 

And if that's their problem - I repeat: their problem - that's fine by me. 

See, I know I'm not a "real" conservative - I've thought about it, and I know what I am - I'm a Republican. 

I've always openly had sympathy for Speaker Boehner, having to deal with having new nutjobs in Congress, just as, I think, any Republican would also see what we have to endure outside of Congress. 

And it's no secret I've also always been sweet on Chris Christie and George W. for quite some time. 

I'm not like them. 

And I don't want to be.

I've chronicled both the Left and Right, making clear everyone understands this airy talk of "principles," and even the more substantive language of the debt ceiling, are really Tea Party euphemisms for "Is this a good day to die?" 

But, um - as a member of The Republican Party - dying was never going to be an option for me. 

For starters, black people - the folks the party freed - we don't think like that, because it's not survival.

   

 If you don't understand a desire to live, and come to me, I don't know what I'd tell you, poor thing, except you probably gotta go. 

Since the the Tea's entrenched themselves in statehouses throughout the nation, it's going to be necessary for Republicans to "drain the swamp," but - as far as our immediate situation - it's best to remind them how ugly and unpatriotic suicidal posturing is, so they might as well get on with it, and the sooner the better. 

That'll save us some work later.

Plus, it'll finally validate their creation in such a real and lasting way, even most wannabe ernest morons will understand - despite not being able to share in the rewards.

If you think about it, they've only ever really done it one other time since 2010.
