Whatever TMR's Been, It Ain't Ever Been Wrong

TMR ain't politically correct.

We don't think it takes a lot of words to say shit and make you think.

Think about it.

And yea, we like the weird pictures.

But no, we don't like cults.

We've got a nose for music around here.

But good music.

And politics. We do love us some politics.

We stood with President Bush - when it really wasn't fashionable.

We've cited several articles recently indicating black Republicans are on the rise. No, we're not going to go back and find them all, but we will remind you, you heard it here first.

We've stated the American character, regardless of race, is as distinct and proudly unique as German or French, but with a system of government and enterprise that, when all are fully unleashed, are far superior to any in the world.

TMR was calling environmentalism "fascism", specifically, against fierce opposition, long before the 10:10 "No Pressure" video opened most everyone else's eyes - including many fellow travelers.

This blog didn't and doesn't buy the story Al Gore, the IPCC, the UN, and Every God Damn Public Service Announcement, Car Company, and Grocery Store Near You were/are selling. Plain and simple:

Our culture is being manipulated into torturing itself by throwing money down the drain.

We can do wonders "without any major advances in technology." But advances are coming; it's inevitable, it's what we do.

True, we said Barack Obama was going to lose the election, and deserved to do so, but - while the election was clearly a mistake - overall, we feel vindicated.

The Democrats. See the comment above. But more than that (long before the "Obama cult" talk started, after Oprah so impressed everyone by declaring this lamer "The One") we were calling Oprah a NewAge fraud and the Democratic Party, starting with Bill and Hillary Clinton, a ruthless utopian NewAge party that was doomed to failure, resulting from it's own "spiritual" doctrines, and other conflicts with reality.

Again: vindicated - or we soon will be (Glenn Reynolds: "don't get cocky.").

Of course, we then turned around and smacked Sam Harris. Probably not the smartest move but, come on:

Doesn't everyone want to smack Sam Harris?

Baby Boomers get a pretty hard time around here, but that's only because they haven't died yet.

Don't worry - they will - you have our word on that.

Fortunately, journalism already did. It didn't suffer. Very quick.

Hanged itself.

And we knew that was coming as well.
