White People Don't Even Know What Friendship Means

I just peeked at the #solidarityisforwhitewomen Twitter feed and got hit between the eyes with this:
"#solidarityisforwhitewomen means being able to fight sexism and violence against women without demonizing the men in your community."

Ooooh, Ann Althouse and de white lady feminists ain't gonna like that. They're talking about Rappers and other "losers". And it goes against that rock solid Reynolds Law, too!

Oh, what's we gon' do? What is we gon' do?

I guess, point out how silly Reynolds sounds - here's a theory he just posited, by way of Ed Driscoll:
“I suspect that there is another reason why the press is so fixated on race these days. The left’s agenda is in tatters. Obamacare has crashed on takeoff, after five years of Democratic policies the economy is in the doldrums and we are nearly $17 trillion in debt, and the Obama administration’s foreign policy is is disarray. The Democratic Party, as represented by the press, desperately needs sideshows to 1) rally the party’s faithful, and 2) distract the rest of us from the failures of the liberal agenda. Thus, I don’t think it is a coincidence that liberals are doing their best to portray the summer of 2013 as more or less a replay of 1967. The silliness of the attempt is a measure of how out of ammo liberals are these days.”

Yeah, that's it. It's definitely not that, during a difficult race trial, conservatives showed their traditional lack of empathy for the situation - even causing some of my conservative online friends to virtually back me, as a Zimmerman supporter, into a corner to choose sides - when I'm the guy who's been begging everyone to shut-the-fuck-up about race, and focus on our shared heritage, for years. Under those circumstances, who would you choose:

Blacks, understandably freaking out over another dead kid - or my "friends" making monkey noises?

You Have GOT To Be A Follower To Make This "Work"

Jesus, I've been mentally insulted before I've even had my breakfast:

Ed Driscoll has noted that Ann Althouse said "Drudge does commentary. You just have to figure out what he's trying to say with his juxtapositions — Drudgtapositions."

To which I reply, really? Why, "professor"? Why do we "have to" parse his bullshit? Is wasting our time, allowing some guy in a fedora to get us all pumped up, over what 3/4 of his stories add up to - nothing - really in our interest? How?

TMR readers should ask themselves - since Ann or Ed can't seem to challenge their own bullshit - do you actually learn anything from Drudge's links, or are you merely titillated by them? If you're honest, and find it's the latter, then just admit reading all three of these assholes (plus Glenn Reynolds of course) is nothing more than a distraction from actual political engagement and, thus, no more edifying to the body politic than visiting a quarter porn palace.

Or are you going to prove me wrong by reminding me how these "friends" of yours guided conservatives - and President Romney - to that "easy" victory last November?

Yeah - that's what I thought. The proof is in the pudding:

All these useless professors coaches are "teaching" you is how to flub a lay-up,...

Whoopi Goldberg Takes Her Idiocy Seriously

Ed Driscoll has the "slightly racist" story, including other stuff I've covered about Whoopi. Tavis Smiley's even in there - he of Louise Hay's NewAge clique - and isn't it amazing how I, the internet's anti-cult crusader, always already have stuff on the very people who pop up saying crazy shit? How DOES that happen? Just lucky I guess,...

Anyway, after reading Ed's piece, hit the tags for the various fruitloops, below, if you want "the view" of these numbskulls to become clearer.

Those French Are Sophisticated (If You're Slow)

The London Telegraph's Ed West is quoted by Ed Driscoll, and repeats a point I've made many, many times, here, about France:
A dark-skinned Frenchman once told me that London was paradise because nowhere in France could he go about his business without fearing his skin colour might cause some problem.
Ooh-la-la! And yet, somehow, the French and the American media got the American Left to believe (amongst other things) that - if the United States didn't elect Barack Obama president - it was this country that was racist.

Now that's what I call self-identifying as rubes.

Being Able To Cook A Traditional Dinner Is Nice (But Getting Saved From Being Raped Is Better)

We got this from Ed Driscoll and think, though it's outdated, the idea's still pretty accurate, because - as we said many moons ago - men look pretty different without us, and so what they're willing to fight and die for, if anything, is as well. Cynical-assed Europe doesn't know what it's about, so, without us, everyone would be at the mercy of the law of the jungle - where there is no mercy. Not that we're against pulling back a little bit, just to teach 'em all a lesson, but then someone would fill the vacuum and we'd have to start the killing all over again. Sigh.

Will they never learn?

Doing A Study Of How Much Study Needs Study

Ed Driscoll has a great round-up of the "Left Wing Creationism" that passes for science these days:
A study debunking vaccines by a scientist in the pay of trial lawyers was found to be “an elaborate fraud.” Meanwhile, the “Great Garbage Patch” turned out to be a sea myth. Science has some explaining to do.

Scientific inquiry, once perceived a noble redoubt of objective truth-seeking and enlightenment, is doing a bang-up job of dragging itself down to P.T. Barnum-style snake oil-elixir hype, given the amount of fraud being exposed almost daily.

Of course, mistakes happen in any field of inquiry, but these are politically motivated ruses intended to advance an agenda.
Of course, we've covered all these topics already (we'll put the tags on this post for the various subjects covered) but we should caution that all this flim-flam hasn't made us anti-science - merely embarrassed for scientists. (The guys at denialism blog must surely feel like the fools they are these days.)

We pointed out a long time ago that scientists were, generally, former NewAgers who remained Leftists, so none of this flapdoodle they've tried to railroad us with should come as a shock to anyone. It certainly doesn't to us, though we're glad the public eventually saw through it - you had us wondering!

Anyway, what we'd still like to know is this:

What, other than the narcissism of the NewAge, made a bunch of pocket-protecter nerds think we'd stand by for it?

Those guys ain't that smart!

All The News That's Fit To - What?

"One wonders what what value the newspaper has as an information source to be trusted by their readers."

-- Ed Driscoll, asking a question (about The New York Times) that's being answered on a daily basis, on Ed Driscoll.com.
