Like with Naziism in the 1920s and 30s, as Fascism arrived in Germany, for the late 20th century, the Democrats opened the door for Donald Trump by adopting NewAge in America. (This is why Oprah spoke at every DNC and even got Obama's honors after peddling The Secret). Trump left the Democrat Party, but kept RFK, Jr. and Dr. Oz, so the connection to NewAge quackery - which, clearly, the left and right seem to immensely (and stupidly) enjoy - stays obvious.

So, it should come as no surprise that, here we are in 2025 - long after Vietnam - celebrating the birthday of a nation known for killing babies again.

It's been within the last decade that I first said AI was overblown, and - lo and behold - Apple's finally agreed with me. It only took their college-educated engineers 10 years to see what a guy with a GED saw immediately. But that's about par for the course.

It's been over 15 years after TMR first wrote about San Francisco's One Taste cult - later researched in "Women Getting Squirrelly (And Collecting Nuts)" - when we read in NYC "Founders of ‘Orgasmic Meditation’ group found guilty of forcing employees into sex acts". DUH.

I mean, Wow. Seriously: That's not just an issue of time, but of space AND comprehension, too. Theres a lot of distance there, no matter how you look at it. And we're not just talking about One Taste, but how long it takes for American society to identify, and then act, against - not only the obvious but - what the society, itself, is doing. To itself. We're talking a really, really s-l-o-w response time. In the Information Age. What a mindfuck.

 

"Leaders of ‘orgasmic meditation’ wellness company convicted in forced labor trial" is a headline that proves, after almost two decades of linguistic conditioning, the media doesn't even know where the quotes go, whenever one of theses cults starts calling itself a "wellness company." What is a "wellness company"? What is "wellness"? Clearly, in the end, it has something to do with tricking people into doing things against their will,...to make them well. Well.

Here's something semi-related with bite in it:

So he's doing,...well. Because, as we all witnessed with our own eyes, nobody brought up Andrew Wakefield, even once, during RFK, Jr's supposedly-thorough Congressional vetting process. Because this is a society taking a really long time, to grasp what it's doing. To itself. 

We make it very clear - looking at how we process 30 years of history - the truly amazing thing is that we grasp anything at all.

 

Twenty-Four Seven, Three Sixty-Five, Seven Days A Week, Until You Die

Waking up to hear President Trump's theory, that "Joe Biden died in 2020 and was replaced by a clone," is the latest reminder that, for America in 2024, the political choice was NOT between bad governance under the Democrats or,...whatever MAGA is supposed to be now (I get that "Again" is the late 80s, before the internet, when Trump shined) but a choice between NewAge mumbo jumbo of the flavor delivered on TV with Oprah, or conspiracy theories the way radio used to ladle them out on Coast To Coast AM. 

    

But, no matter which - whether you like 'em or not - you were gonna get it. No one in this country is spared "the crazy." Ever. It's not allowed. Voting for Trump, to escape the influence of Democrat "spirituality," was only going to lead to Trump putting RFK, Jr. and Dr. Oz in charge of healthcare. It was inevitable. There was never going to be a way out. 

   

Clones, Christ, craziness, and even the cosmic - when promising common sense - is the defining feature of American life.
